   The red lion is an oldie world public house and as they say you should never judge a book by its cover because the true beauty of this pub is its heart and insides. The landlord and landlady are extremely friendly, welcoming and hospitable and sometimes have the difficult task of having to deal with individuals who don’t know how to behave after a few too may beers which in itself is hard but they do this so the rest of those engaging in the merriment within the establishment don’t have to endure those individuals who can’t interact with adults properly which I particularly appreciate as I go in there to share laughter and fun times with people who enrich it’s atmosphere. For me the hosts and the quality people who also frequent this gem of an establishment make the red lion a real jewel in the heart of the beautiful town of Guiseley.

   A very welcoming atmosphere. An excellent place to just chill or get involved with the quiz on a Thursday and the various games nights, with karaoke on Friday and Sunday evening, selection of local beers and variety of other beverages, on cold evenings there is a wood burning stove.

   Great local pub, with loads of outdoors covered seating. Really great atmosphere here and the beer is a very good price. Staff really friendly. No food other than bar snacks available when we went, hence our lost star. Been here many times over the years, the current owner is really putting lots into the place making it one of the top Guiseley pubs again.

   Great local! Friendly efficient staff great atmosphere, karaoke, pool, darts and plenty of varied televised sport for fans! Always a warm welcome dogs and children permitted until 8.00 pm, fantastic display of flowers around the outside sitting area that has obviously taken a lot of effort! Well worth a visit very lively with karaoke and music at weekends.
