   Went to The Midnight Bell Tuesday and it was genuinely really good. The burger was juicy, the chips were absolute doorstops, and the onion rings were huge and crispy. Proper satisfying plate of food. Yeah, it’s a bit on the pricier side — sixteen quid for essentially a burger and chips made me wince for a second — but it was actually worth it. Good quality, cooked well, and you don’t leave hungry. Service was friendly without hovering, everything came out hot, and the place has a nice chilled atmosphere where you can actually hear each other talk. Left full and happy. Would definitely go back.

   Very good pub about ten minutes walk from Leeds Railway Station. Seven cask beers on handpump when I visited including a dark mild. Not too busy before the Spurs game at Elland Road.

   The strangest experience ive had in an establishment. Went today (sunday) around 1pm for a drink with my partner, my mrs and my daughter, we were very quiet, no screaming child and my dog doesnt bark. Asked at the bar, if it was ok to come in with a dog, and a child, and the very polite lady said thats fine sit any where. We sat in the corner out of the way. My daughter was colouring, we were having a pint (sagres, was lovely) while scanning through the menu, the polite young lady came over, and said do you want food ill come back in take your order in 5 if you do? We said great, i ordered a scotch egg, my partner the sunday lunch. Not 5 minute later the gentleman came back, quite rude, said were fully booked, we need you out. Im not sure what we had done, the place was very quiet. Then 2 lads came in off the street, said shall we sit here? (Next to us) no booking, ordered food and got served? Very strange, i wont be back. Always wanted to try midnight bell, but wont be back.

   Popped here today for a few beers and a Roast beef Sunday lunch. The food was generous in size, really tasty, top notch food. Everything is locally sourced, service was excellent as was the beers.

   A genuinely wonderful little pub. Pleasing atmosphere incredibly charming staff. Great beer well kept and expertly pulled. And frankly one of the finest Sunday roasts I've had in a pub. Great portions chock full of flavour and delicious season. Genuinely a wonderful meal. Will be back next time we're in the area

   Lovely place. Our table was a bit cold Because of the door so they moved us to a much better table. The staff and manager were engaging and extremely friendly. The food was amazing, fish pie was amazing as was the sticky toffee pudding. I would certainly go again but book a table as it’s really popular

   I booked a surprise birthday party for my wife’s birthday, all the staff were fantastic with a special shout out for Yaz who went above and beyond. 34 guests all praised the room, food, staff and drinks. Best of all my wife had a great time.

   Friendly warm welcome from the staff. Beautiful Haddock Goujon sandwich with chunky chips sat out in the yard in the sunshine. Reasonably priced and food came quick which is great when you've only an hour for lunch.
