This is a village pub and the landlord and landlady are very well suited to the village. They are keen to involve the community in deciding which events they put on. They have a coffee/craft morning on Fridays, different craft evenings and a quiz night. I would heartily recommend you pay a visit.
Great local pub , very clean and serves a lovely pint we only had a flying visit today but we will be returning again soon , lots of charity events happening and Dog friendly .
Called in for a drink with my other half, lovely traditional styled pub and the bar staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning again when in the area
My nephew had a pint here and half way down found a dried peanut stuck to the inside of the glass. Returned to bar and informed bar staff. The lass behind the bar said. “well no one else has complained”, he explained no one else probably had dried up half chew peanut in their glass. She grunted and tipped into another glass no apology no offer to replace. Had to leave the drink as this put him off.

Cracking pub that you can turn up to on your own and be guaranteed to have a friend to drink with. Cask ale is always top notch and the lagers are great too. Can't wait for my next visit, bravo to the staff!!
This place has really turned around since Imogen and Paul have taken over. They are really welcoming and such lovely people. They always make effort and go that extra mile for all their customers. The atmosphere it brilliant every weekend, can’t wait for the Christmas festivities.
Cant say enough about this place!!!!! Great staff and extremely friendly. Since bieng took over by imogen and her partner it's soared. Love karaoke on a Saturday night!. Always great entertainment on. Warm and welcoming x
Fortunately our dog can’t walk past the pub without calling in,and he can’t go on his own. There is always a friendly face,and someone to talk to.A fabulous selection of drinks …. Including water for the dog obviously. A welcoming pet friendly place to meet with friends or meet new ones.I wish we could attend more events that Imogen and Paul put on,as there is something for everyone.
