   The Calver Arms manages to cater well for locals and visitors/walkers alike, a mix we saw when we called for lunch. New decor very pleasant. The food, pub classics done well, was very good. Steak and Ale Pies had a firm crust, good filling and served with chips and gravy. The Shepherds Pie, made from pieces of lamb shoulder, was also very good. Both served with slice cabbage, peas and carrots which was a good accompaniment. A nice pint of Chatsworth Gold. A good option if you are walking in the area or just passing by.

   Fantastic food, warm welcome, and accomodating to a large group too. TVs everywhere with horse racing which was less our taste, but decor still well done. Will definitely come back when in the area. The pie was awesome, kids food really good size. Great!

   Eyre arms never fails, we have been here a few times now and it never disappoints. Never had a bad meal and the staff are so friendly. Definitely worth making the trip! Also I didn't have the salad but as the lady was walking past it looked lush! Also the toilets are always clean and smell nice.

   Great menu for vegetarian as everything seems to have gone plant based which I don't like. Friendly staff. We all had different burgers which were lovely, so tasty. The cauliflower was gorgeous. I'd definitely come here again.

   Brilliant pub and brilliant hosts, stopped here a good few times in out motorhome and always been more then welcoming, friendly atmosphere and a perfect spot for some classic car watching on the weekends!
