What a brilliant place this is. We went in the campervan for the Christmas market at chatsworth. It's first come first served basis so long as you eat/drink in the pub toilets are open when pub is and you can have breakfast to. Big car park on the top half, great night sleep no noise from pub. The staff are all super fantastic and the meal tasty and well worth the money. Half hr walk to Chatsworth. Can't wait to go back.

8 of us came in for lunch to celebrate my birthday after a trip to the chatsworth xmas markets. We were greeted by friendly staff and showed to our cosy table. The food and service were both great and we will definitely return. Thank you

Booked in online last minute! Beautiful Sunday roast! Good range of beer, wines, and cider. There was a great offer on main meals! 40% off email code. There was a 10% off drinks offer when ordered via the QR code on tables.

The place looks absolutely lovely, with a neat and well-maintained interior that creates a welcoming atmosphere. The ambiance is warm and inviting, enhanced by soft lighting and tasteful decor. All the staff members are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and highly competent, ensuring a pleasant experience. Since our arrival, we were promptly greeted and offered drinks, demonstrating their attentive service. We ordered the signature pie, called ‘Best Ever Pub Pie,’ which truly lived up to its name — it was the most delicious, flavorful, and well-crafted pie I've ever tasted. I highly recommend this charming pub and its excellent restaurant to anyone looking for a delightful culinary experience.

An impromptu visit after work on a sunny afternoon. Easy to park and a lovely pub inside and out with a relaxed atmosphere. We sat in the beer garden which is beautiful, spacious, loads of tables to choose from with parasols. Super easy to order on the app. Really friendly attentive staff - the customer service was excellent from everyone we encountered, special mention to the chap who greeted us on arrival, explained the set up, and also tried his best to fend off a wasp that was trying to join us for dinner! The food was delicious, piping hot, and arrived very quickly. Many thanks for a lovely experience, I’m looking forward to returning!

The pub and its grounds are lovely, very green and well maintained. The food was but the cocktail was awful and not worth £8. The staff member I spoke with was sarcastic and unpleasant so we won't return.

Dined here twice during my stay in Baslow. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and cocktails. I was served by Laura on Day 1 who made great recommendations for my cocktail and meal. The next day I was served by the head chef's son who was equally enthusiastic about the menu. It's a cosy pub with outdoor space. Highly recommend.

We were just driving through the area and I remembered this pub from many years ago. Decided to stop in for a meal. Arrived and the place was a little busy, but we were able to park. Small wait to be seated. We sat outside, given the menus and told to order at the bar. I must say with the glorious sunshine outdoor seating was a must. Very impressive array of seating options and table sizes. Seats available in gazebos, partial shade or full sunshine. A few picnic benches available. All surrounded by a well kept garden and a play area for children. Good array of options on the menu. No queues for ordering at the bar. Drinks given straight away and food delivered to our table relatively quickly. Staff polite and professional. This is all whilst the place was filling up. Really lovely experience.
