   I took my 3 boys in yesterday to get new school shoes. 2 of my boys are neurodiverse and it can often be a stressful time getting new shoes. We were served by a wonderful young man called Sammy, who had actually helped us with school shoes last year. He was incredibly patient and gentle natured and listened carefully to what my boys were saying to him and didn’t get the slightest bit irritated when they didn’t do as he had asked. He made their little brother feel included and then allowed them to each scan their box at the till. He was wonderful with my boys and he is a credit to the store and his family. I am incredibly grateful.

   Wonderful shop with staff who clearly know their stuff. So glad this shop is around. Start rite shoes are great for children who wear shoe insoles, but there is so much more involved when it comes to doing a fitting. These ladies were great. Thank you for all your help. Xxx

   Such a lovely little shop on Godalming High Street, took my 17month daughter who had recently started walking to get her 1st shoes. She has previously had melt downs over shoe fittings and I've had to give up but here they were so patient, friendly and accommodating doing everything at her pace and making her feel comfortable. Walked away with our 1st pair of shoes and a happy little girl. Thank you so much to this wonderful gem of a shop

   Excellent service in Godalmings only shoe shop. A wide variety of makes and styles with cheerful assistants to help. Children's feet are measured and top advice to buyers. Timberland and Ecco to name a few makes are in stock along with all the appropriate sprays and cleaners. Super shop.
