   We have shopped at Sports Direct in birkenhead for years.I was shopping for shoes with my kids like always today. Though one of the staff member had a very bad attitude so we were scared to ask her more questions. I could tell that she was busy but at least she could've been nice to us and the other customers. This isn't my first time seeing this lady this my second time and she still has the same attitude and that's why I thought I should put a review on it. Also, I am not complaining about the shop or other staff. I'm complaining because of a specific lady who wears glasses. I feel terrible about giving a review like this, though, I had to because I couldn't let her just slide by like that, so that's why.

   Would give no stars if i could! Really need to have an overhaul of staff in this store!Worst store ever,will never shop in here again. Manager rude and unhelpful,staff not interested in serving anyone, they seem to have no time for customers. Stood waiting for 10minutes for someone to help me get a pair of trainers, there was only me and 1 other person in the shop. Had to go looking for someone in the end. When I was served the staff were uninterested and it seemed like I was an inconvenience too them. Eventually got a pair of trainers and the staff threw the box down and ran off! When this pair didn't fit,again had to wander round the shop to find a staff member to help. Same staff member told me I had to wait as she was busy! (Stocking shelves). Eventually after another 5minutes managed to get a pair that fit. Another occasion i had to deal.with the manager instore,she was so unhelpful,rude and abrupt,and when I started getting annoyed at the way I was being treated,she turned her camera on and told me she would not serve me if I carried on the way I was, and to stop talking or she would not exchange my items,even when I tried to speak I was told to shush!!! Absolutely disgusting customer service, she should of turned her camera on at the start so she could of seen the way she was speaking to me, but only turned it on after she had been vile to me. Horrible store,will never set foot in Birkenhead sportsdirect again, the sooner they shut it the better!! Now I understand why the shop never has any customers!

   Absolutely zero customer service skills, the woman that served me on the football boots was uninterested and rude with zero eye contact. I complained to the man on the till and he just apologised, I’m guessing this is the standard experience people face in this shop. Retail industry is dying right now the only thing that will save it is knowledgable and enthusiastic customer sales reps that show a genuine interest in the customers needs.

   I went into this store looking to purchase running shoes for an upcoming event,I was “assisted” by your staff member Branson or Brandon as I heard someone else call him. He couldn’t have been less bothered on even trying to be of any help,he actually seemed totally disinterested in helping me,I felt like I was unwelcome in the store. I asked if there was a sale section and he stood there sighed and pointed.His extreme unprofessional manner made me quickly leave to go to JD sports instead,a lot more expensive but has friendly staff who knowabout the stock.He sarcastically told me to have a nice rest of my day which I felt was insincere and rude…. I was disappointed that this store employs staff of this nature,they don’t care about customer service and clearly hate their job. He obviously needs more training or a firework lit up his backside to become more motivated, in trying times it was sad to see somebody so unbelievably cold and unfriendly in your store trying to assist your shoppers, I definitely will not be returning to this store, while this store employs lacklustre unenthusiastic unmotivated lazy employees.

   Very unhappy with the customer service. Don’t even deserve the 1 star. I asked for a pair of shoes to try on and I got told they had to serve someone else after I waited for so long to ask her. Disappointed

   I attended the store about half an hour ago to buy a t-shirt for my son for sports day and heard the staff accusing me of attempting to steal it. I was quite obviously offended by this and informed the staff member at the till that I had heard them talking about me but they just ignored me. If you're in the area and looking for sports clothing I'd highly advise visiting JD instead, it's just around the corner and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

   Jam packed full of trainers, walking shoes, football boots, football kits, tops, shorts, gym wear in fact as the name suggests SPORTS of all kinds. Very reasonably priced and online even more at good prices. The only thing I can find wrong with the store is there returns policy, if you dont exchange you will recieve a credit note that will last for 2 years not a monetry refund.
