I really love Gooutdoors as they always have best equipment for camping but, their staff really need ASAP re training!! Each time I'm there I always try to use my bluelight card and no one know how to apply it to the system. It is not staff fault but, rather lack of training they received since simple discount code cannot be properly managed.

The customer service in the rimrose store, bootle. Is absolutely shocking the staff just look at you. All wondering round doing absolutely nothing. I’ve always had my bike tyre fitted here no problem from the young lad with the glasses. It takes him ten minutes to change the inner tube. I have never go an anywhere else to get it fixed. I’ve been down a few times in the past two weeks and I’ve either missed him or hasn’t been no bike technician in at all the staff will watch me go all the way upstairs with my bike not telling me in advance that there was no one there. 5 times this has happened to me in the past week it cost me £12 each time in a taxi. I’ve rung up today 1/10/25. They said the bike technician was in, so I’ve come down to the store in another taxi took the time to get here because I need my bike desperately it’s my life line I’ve got a disability. They have let me go all the way up there with my bike again for a man called Ken to be absolutely rude to me saying he can’t fix it because my bike is electric. The store sells electric bikes and it is only changing an inner tube for someone who is unable. I told him the lad who works there also normally does it for me no problem and he called me a liar. I have never been so embarrassed in all my life and I never ever complain. I’ve been coming to this store nearly all my life and I won’t be coming here again through sheer embarrassment.

Reserved a couple of inflatable sofas. Travelled 30 minutes each was to be told they don’t have them. This isn’t the first time this has happened so need to sort the click and collect stock checker out. Shop is poorly ran. Every time I go in it’s carnage. They’re selling customer return stock with damage for more than you can buy them on their own website. Tents have been there unsold for months. Staff always look stressed and hear them badmouthing the company themselves, no one serving on the fishing section today and only one on the main till. I feel sorry for the staff, obviously problems higher up. Shame really as wouldn’t take much to get it to a well ran company. If there was another option closer I probably wouldn’t use Go outdoors. Hopefully they sort their issues before they go bust.

One of the better Go Outdoors out there. Very big with loads of choice. The only negative is I don't think they clean the changing rooms. You have to ask for them to be unlocked which is fine but then you're getting changed and the floors covered in bits, needs a good vaccum.

Great place to visit and for shopping if you like to go outdoors and camping. Wide range of products for campers, hikers, bikers. All of them good quality! Cheaper - if not much cheaper - than other retailers. Great brands are on sale currently on Black Friday deals (winter coats, tents, bicycles... Etc etc). Kids and family friendly. Easy to spend there an hour or two, and kids can enjoy the tents setted up. Great place for people with disabilities, wheelchair users. Full access on both floor for everyone, lift gives access to the 1st floor. Customers toilets are in place also.. Only one thing I'm missing from here, maybe a little stall for simple food, bbq food and soft drinks.

Went and bought a hook up conversation cable to charge my leisure battery on my campervan. I got it for £4.00. Thats half the price as the cheapest I could find on line absolute bargain.

Clue is in the title, everything you need for the outdoors, from camping, to biking to fishing. Staff here have always been so helpful and with the £5 annual membership you get some unreal discounts in store.

Brilliant selection and very helpful staff. Plenty of sales items on clothing lines. I’d been looking everywhere for Kelly kettles and found them here.

Really good variety of stock and everything look well ordered and clean. However, most of the staff were playing a literal game of chase / hide and seek with each other, meaning that no one was there to man to shoe section so could not try on any shoes in my size. The only people working that I could see were one person on the till and another moving pallets around.
