“My son's bike hadn't been used for a couple of years and was in desperate need of a service and new inner tubes. I contacted Simon, who called out to collect the bike and to talk me through what he was going to do to ensure that the bike was road worthy again. He returned the bike a couple of days later, looking like new and in full working order. Simon was a delight to deal with and was professional, knowledgeable and very courteous throughout. A well deserved 5 stars!”

“Taken my scooter in for a new charging port last Friday and had to leave it over the weekend which I was expecting anyway. It was ready first thing the following Monday, I took it back Tuesday as I realised my light was also not working, I rang the shop and they told me to bring it in and fixed free of charge which I was over the moon with! “I snapped a spoke on my DT Swiss wheel. It was at the shop half an hour later and fixed within the next two hours. One new spoke, three new spoke nipples, fresh rim tape, sealant and tyre re-fitted. Absolutely incredible service. Massive thanks to Will, Alex, Nik and Chris.”

“I'd spent four years riding my mountain bike to near destruction, and it needed some serious attention. After being turned away by some of the big names in cycling (yet they always bleat about losing money) I turned to Jez. A couple of my colleagues had recommended him, saying his work was first class. Jez clearly cares about his craft, and it does seem a lot more than just a job to him. His passion shines through, in the finished job. He replaced my whole drive train, bottom bracket, headset, and trued up my rear wheel, whilst servicing the freehub. A complete service of the front and rear shock, and some other sundry items, has now got my bike riding better than when it was new. All this was completed within a week. I'm very grateful to Jez for getting my beast up and running again, and as he's less than a mile from me, I'll make him my first choice for any repairs or maintenance in future, rather than just bodging the job myself. Give him a go, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.”

“We dropped off a Polygon siskiud6 for some repairs. Have to say that Matt and Ian went beyond expectation. Explaining what was required to repair the bike, order the parts, fitting the parts and making the bike look and ride like brand new. When we collected the bike they explained all the work that had been completed and also provided advice on the best way to maintain the bike in order to minimise further issue. Great service, very competitive price too. We will certainly be returning in the future if we need any work. Thank you again.”

“Went today to check if they had a bike in stock and any availability to build it. They said they didn't have the bike in stock. When we said the other Halfords had it in stock but no availability to build it. They said there were quite free the young man at the till said we would need to pay the build at the other shop but they could assemble it for us which I thought was really nice. That's was top notch customer service. Something I will remember.”

He explained the different options, recommended becoming a premium member to save money, and even helped me sign up so I could get a better deal on the spot. Rob also went the extra mile by checking my car lights and trying to fix one that wasn’t working. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was sorted. Only problems if I had to be picky are the door isn’t automatic so you have to fight to get in with your bike and the repair shop is upstairs but apart from them two minor things it was nice and easy”
