Large store feels a little overpacked out with products like a jumble sale..prices same as all SD. Parking great. Large store with plenty of products.... good standard of SD store.
I bought a pair of Nike shoes from the store about two weeks ago and unfortunately one of the lace eyelets snapped after very light use. I went back today not really knowing what to expect, and Luke on the shop floor was absolutely brilliant. He listened properly, checked everything quickly, and swapped them for a brand-new pair on the spot with no fuss at all. He was friendly, polite, and made the whole thing really easy. It’s rare to get service that good these days, so a massive thank you to Luke and the team. I’ll definitely keep shopping here because of experiences like this. Highly recommend!
Some of the worst attitude I've ever come across in a shop. The severely sweating supervisor was at best bad at his job or more than likely not wanting to rectify their mistake. In the space of 5 minutes he managed to blame everyone but themselves. This was not just us, the 5 people in the queue had exactly the same encounter with him.
Poor Health and Safety at the Store. The changing room has an intense flickering light, which caused an episode of migraine. Colleagues were not very helpful when I requested their assistance.
I bought a pair of golf trousers at sports direct in Aintree. When I got them home, the trousers has poor hemming in them and to very easily because of this. I took them back and was refused a refund even though the item was faulty which is against the trading Standards rules. I spoke to the manager he was rude and abusive and refused to follow and comply to the law. this is the most disgraceful shop I have ever shocked in all my life and now have an item where £25 that I don’t want. That is faulty because all they would do is swap the product for another pair of trousers which are also faulty. I would not shop in this store and would advise anybody else she reads this review to Shop elsewhere. i phoned head office you were about as useful as a chocolate teapot. This company deserves to go out of business and hopefully one day it will due to its absolute disgraceful lack of customer service and it’s disgracefully poor quality products. Be way out of shopping here I say and we won’t be retaining and would advise anybody else to do the same and shop somewhere with customer service, quality of product and refunds are available for faulty products
Stood around for 15 minutes waiting and actively looking for someone to request a shoe size. Wasn’t busy yet no staff members to be seen anywhere. Bought product on Amazon in the end
didn’t deliver my parcel. Lied and said that the evri driver had been outside my house to which he 100% hadn’t Lost my delivery and won’t give refund / replace Made me jump through hoops to prove I was the account holder then denied to go further as it didn’t fit a timescale Terrible service. Joke of a company. Never seeing a penny off me again.
Rude and clueless female member of staff who was working in the game at Sports direct Aintree today 7/1/23 we pick up a game we wanted today went to the till was stood at the till for 5 mins before the girl saw me, I gave her the game I wanted was asked if it was cash or points I said I wanted to use my game reward card she said that the game was £47 no it’s got preowned sticker on for £31.99 oh that’s not the price now its £47 I told her no it says £31.99 she said we don’t do that now if I wanted the game I was to buy it at £47 the female said the the prices had been do wrong if I wanted the game for £31.99 I was to purchase the game for £47 then bring it back and get credit for it to which I declined and said I would be speaking to trading standards. Very poor customer service
Went to the shop to return an item I had bought online … 2 same size and make swimsuits one was fine the other was too big, went into store to see if I could get an exchange ….one was obviously labelled wrong it was definitely a bigger size .. manufacturing issue, they didn’t have one in the colour I wanted. I was told that to return an item purchased online I would have to pay the return postage …. this should have been wavered as the issue was with the sizing of the item and not that I’d ordered the incorrect size. The customer service I received was very very poor, I spoke to two different members of staff at the till both as incompetent as the other, definitely a training issue … disappointed.
They had work going on at the time of the visit and even that doesn't impede the quality of the the service from the staff. Great layout. Insane amount of choice. Great choice in budgets, styles and names. Never had an issue with this company and undoubtedly, never will. Brilliant shop.
