   Beware of not only this depot, but all of Howdens! This depot designed and measured my kitchen. Upon installation it became clear they had measured incorrectly, by 300mm! I had to accept a configuration that I didn’t want. They refuse to accept liability as they state their design service is an illustration only. How does this work when they come to your house, measure, design and place the order?! Not clear in their T&Cs! And your contract is with your fitter, not them. So basically, they can make as many mistakes as they want and won’t be held liable! They also sent lots of incorrect items (6/24 damaged doors, different colour cupboards) missing items and used, faulty stock (pic attached), again, taking no responsibility. Oh and they blatantly lie to you about pricing, I have proof in email! I’m now having to dispute via my credit card company as I’ve been left with a kitchen I didn’t agree to at design stage. Proceed with caution, they don’t tell you all this when they’re coaxing you into spending thousands! I’ll be sure to spread it across as many social media platforms as possible from now on.

   Very helpful until you hit a problem. We picked our worktop following seeing a sample in the shop. However the sample is nothing like the worktop when it turned up. Certain worktops have a "medullary ray markings" on them that basically looks like your worktop is marked. This is isn't shown on the display or explained to you when you purchase the worktop. So after spending £10,000 with Howdens they aren't willing to help as it is part if the design and not a fault. A design that isn't shown. So make sure you ask about any "medullary ray markings" because after youve spent your £10,000 all your getting back off Howdens is a £50 goodwill voucher.
