We rented a 2 bed property in Withington, we had a continual mouse problem which was sorted in a half-arsed fashion. The landlord never appeared on time when making appointments. Sometimes turning up without an appointment and expecting to have access to our property. We were not made aware of building works commencing in the property below ours, our landlord also owned this. When we were without power for 3 days due to the building works, no compensation was offered. The entire house was run on extension cables, which often blew due to power overload. This includes the fridge and freezer, washing machine and dryer. No inventory was provided upon commencing and ending of rental periods, even after this was queried. The deposits were returned over 1 month late without proper cause. I would inspect all properties by this landlord thoroughly before agreeing to rent.
