   I've had their shoes for nearly 2 years now, worn them nearly every day as I alternate shoes and they're still together and like new every time they're polished. They offer a free polishing service. They know their shoes inside and out and feel like a family business, always welcoming and a comforting place to go to when you need to put some attention on your feet.

   High quality men's shoes, back to being family owned (was previously under church's). Large selection and range of shoes. Staff are excellent and extremely knowledgeable and re cognised my shoes fairly quickly. Would highly recommend but can be seen as expensive but this is high quality leather shoes made in their factory in Northampton, England. They also do full show refurbishment and you can choose your choice of sole oak bark, leather, rubber.

   Customer service here is second to none, excellent quality shoes, great atmosphere and the a delightful retail experience. Carina is a real star!. Impartial advice and help in choosing the right shoes and even personally went to collect the shoes from another store for me. Can not recommend them enough.

   I went into Cheaney’s Bow Lane shop with the intention of just trying a few shoes and shopping around. Before I knew it, my my fairly weathered brogues which I had removed to try on a pair of smart Alfreds were whisked away, polished and returned looking like new. Apparently this is part of the service as explained by Carina. In the meantime, Jack took time to find the perfect fit from the many variants available and I walked out with my new shoes a satisfied customer. I cannot recommend this store highly enough. Service like this is from a bygone era.
