Went for dog walk and coffee, staff miserable and rude. Long queue which didn't seem to move very quickly, seemed to be lots of staff milling around, but no one really doing much to serve. Bought their home made bread, paid £2.80 for a loaf, worst bread I've ever tasted. Rock hard and tasteless. I struggled to cut slices, ended up going in the bin. Will not be visiting again.

At last we managed to pop in on way to Wales, have been meaning too for years. We Weren't disappointed. The caramel machiato was gorgeous and I'm not a coffee lover lol and the cake of the week was excellent, one can tell it's made there, same goes for my husbands latte and carrot cake. We sat in the lovely airy conservatory, there were picnic benches outside. Lady explained that the wheel had been turning in the morning but unfortunately river too low when we were there for it to work, we have had very hot weather lately. I bought a bag of flour which I though was reasonably priced. They also produce their own rapeseed oil. There are countryside walks on their property you can take.

A smart countryside cafe with a variety of seating options and the spectacle of a working water mill from which they produce flour for their own daily baked bread. Dogs are welcome on leads if they are well behaved. Nothing about children leads or not.

Lovely cafe at a fascinating water mill where they still produce flour. Eat indoors or outdoors, well behaved dogs welcome. Also lovely cakes as well as sandwiches, toasties and quiche. And of course bread made with their flour.

Always good. Best brownies I've ever tasted. Daughter raves about them. Beautiful surroundings. Lovely staff. So glad it's survived the pandemic. Great walks.

Gorgeous lunch here today, the bread unsurprisingly is gorgeous (I've bought flour to make my own). Fab walks as well so will be back again.
