If I could rate the shop no stars I would, I went in today with my wife and mum to find a GoPro as I was in the market for one, it is also my first time owning one so I couldn’t decide between the GoPro 12 or the GoPro 13 and wanted to talk to someone about them after watching a few reviews We could see lots of store colleagues walking about and at first we thought our shopping experience was going to be pleasant and easy, we were very mistaken!!! We didn’t see a sign for the cameras I just happened to find them, we then had a 10 min wait before we had to get someone’s attention all to be told someone from the relevant department had to be spoken to, so we waited and waited, the same store colleague asked if we’d been seen to which we responded no, they then went to find someone again for us, another 10 mins and I went to go and find someone else, I was told they had to queue us on the system and there was a 5-10 min wait so a lot of time wasting here already, when someone did come from the tech department I was so disappointed and dissatisfied with their lack of knowledge on the products I was looking at, it was rather frustrating because it’s quite a lot of money to be handing over and for me it was a bit of a tough decision so you’d hope the person who specialises in tech should know and be able to guide a buyer It inspired no confidence in what I was buying, I did ask to be given some time to think about my decision, once I had made my decision I had to queue again to buy the product, I decided to get the GoPro 13, we waited about 10 mins to queue again and when I asked for the product the store colleague didn’t have the key for the cupboard so we had to wait another 15 mins or more, when they did come back they walked with zero urgency to us all to be told they had none left but then somehow there was 1 in one of the cupboards, all in all it didn’t seem like they cared that much This sounds terrible but there was a language barrier aswell, the store colleague had a thick accent and couldn’t understand me and some of the time and I couldn’t understand them Then at the till I’d asked for extras, one of them was missing but I wanted to get out of the store, they didn’t inspire me with any confidence in their till ability aswell, I thought we’d over payed to I would highly suggest better training needs to be given or employees need to be doing their own research into the products they sell as it clearly shows a lack of initiative and indifference, which truthfully scares customers and the fact that they share what looks like 1 cupboard key is silly and remarkably detrimental to the company as we contemplated leaving several times as they were all sharing this 1 key The whole experience was terrible, I’m pleased I got the product but with that said we wasted nearly a whole hour getting rather frustrated and underwhelmed where you could purchase the product online and have none of the hassle

One of the most out of order and non organised store is this one in Croydon Purley’s, very rude and new staff , please change your logo when you say “we know how” they have wasted my 1 hour just to see if the laptop was in stock, and another half hour to let me know that we are looking for it, I had to go through 4 different shop assistants to help me ? If you have it in stock, they were running like headless chicken They need to change their staff asap , or give them more training to keep the basic standards, I left the store without buying anything, but I guess it’s was their loss not mine ,Argos was much easier and approachable than currys same price and much quicker . Won’t recommend anyone for this sore.

We waited over half an hour for someone to come and help us, in the end we gave up waiting. None of the price labels on the shelf matched the actual products above. We then waited over 20 minutes in the queue to pay as there was only 1 till open which is ridiculous on a busy Sunday morning. To top it all off someone got to jump the queue with a salesperson from the floor as they were paying cash. The overall experience has made me vow never to come back.

Their customers service is absolutely ridiculous! I bought a TV on 16/11/2025 in store and let them know I got acoustic panels on my walls about the installation. They said no worries, it is even better! They came to install it and said we cannot do it because you have acoustic panels and they will come prepared after one week! I called them on 20/11/2025 around 19:50 and spoke with a lady called Zaroup or Zarup. I told her the story and asked for a sooner booking. Then she said it's my fault because I have the acoustic panels. I said that I told this in store and I showed a picture as well. Then she replied "then go back to store and let them know". Absolutely disrespectful. I told her this customer service I get is simply terrible. No words for this customer service, it's absolutely embarrassing for them!

Staff were chatting together on the shop floor and when asking a member of staff if they were busy they replied yes, then started to walk away. Asked if they could find someone who wasn't so we could find help to buy a computer, however no one came over. Eventually found a member of staff however all four computers we were interested in were not in stock and one of the display computers was discontinued and no longer available to purchase.

We visited on a week day, and really did not think much of the service provided. The first two 'experts' I approached really did not want to help. First one told me to go ask another person, and the second man really couldn't be bothered. Asked him to explain stuff without too much jargon as not tech-savie, and he looked at me like I was stupid! I then asked him specific information about the product I was after, and he just looked the stuff up online and recited what was there. When I questioned his knowledge around the products he then said it wasn't his 'thing'! I then asked if he couldn't help who could, and he just shrugged his shoulders.... Honestly a huge waste of my time!! I asked the next person, who again told me he couldn't help, but did at least tell me who could help. But he was busy with another client, and we had to wait another 40 minutes until he was free (I do not have a problem with him taking his time with his client, but it does seem silly that there was only 1 expert on duty!) And then there was limited stock, so I couldn't actually get the product I wanted!! A very frustrating, and annoying visit to the store!

I’ve given this shop so many chances, but this time enough is enough. Going into a shop requesting help (after 15 mins of walking around with staff walking past you), only to be passed on to someone else is beyond annoying. It’s obvious customer service is not on the priority list for staff here, so no wonder this company has been affected in recent years. Just to be clear, this is not staff selling on behalf of a particular brand either, no, this is regular staff. On their phones or having conversations and totally ignoring customers that want to make a purchases. Good luck to you with this approach, I’m off to one of your many competitors for a better all around experience and I’m sure they will gladly take my custom. On their website if you copy the model of a product it immediately does a price comparison. But what’s the point? It’s not cheaper than elsewhere (from my experience) nor a better experience, so what’s the point? This is from someone genuinely wanting to shop locally.

Curry's electrical store has a good variety of almost everything electrical for your home over two floors. Reasonable priced depending on what your price range is. What I did find on this visit there seem to be low on stock as quite a few shelves were empty.

Its a big store, so typically has stock of the items. The TV guys do tend to push a particular brand, so not sure if its because of the commission or genuinely better. Generally the guys are helpful and there are plenty of them around. Has good free parking
