“I have been visiting Toolstation, Beckenham on a regular basis for nearly a year. It has become like a second home! Customer service is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Items can be easily ordered, if not in stock and can be returned if not suitable. Michael Tasker served me today and has done on many previous occasions. He is a charming young man, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and goes out of his way to help. I was not rushed or made to feel a nuisance, especially when others were waiting. I am always treated with the utmost respect. I would also like to mention Ed, who has served me on many occasions in the past too. He has always been patient and helpful, especially when deciding which handles to choose as I was replacing all my internal door handles. It was no trouble for Ed to open several boxes of handles so I could make a decision. He also carried two huge tubs of Wallrock paste to my car, without hesitation. These two young men are a huge asset to Toolstation and I hope they will be rewarded for their excellent service. I have also been served by many other members of staff and all have given the same high standard of service. Well done guys and ladies! Thanks to all of you.”

“I had been in search of a new dining table for a few months and having not ventured into Croydon Centre for over a year was unaware that there is a great Next Outlet store in the Centrale Centre. Now when I say that this is a great store let me clarify, whilst the store is well stocked it is not your high-end retail store but it makes up for its shortcomings with a fantastic team of customer service personnel. I found a team of three young ladies moving, wrapping and selling large items of furniture, seemingly all at once, these ladies were taking the multi-tasking skill to a whole new level. Laura, Seratu and Teressa are truly a force of nature and if you need an example of exemplary customer service then look no further, I received absolutely first class service from Seratu when purchasing my Laura Ashley side table, as I needed to know the original price and material and she took the time to look up the item online and provide me with the requested information which allowed me to make an informed choice and purchase an item I had no intention of buying when I entered the store. If you are in need of furniture or clothing you would be crazy not to check out some of the great deals available at the Next Outlet Store in Croydon, located on the ground floor of the Centrale Shopping Centre. “Bought fence panels from this store and rang the main customer services to deal with problem. Basically they were worse than useless and unhelpful. Went back the this store and the managers could not be more helpful. They saw immediately that the panels were not fit for purpose and refunded. Thank goodness for sensible people.”

“Our fridge freezer failed after a prolonged spell of hot weather, so a replacement had to be found. We shopped around but speed was of the essence. As it turned out the best deal for both product and installation speed was Visions, our local Euronics store. Fiona was able to source a Bosch that fitted our specification and installed it within a couple of days, (weekend included) removing the old one for a reasonable charge. Result -- one happy customer.”
