   I kind of appreciate what people are saying relating to Sports Direct Macclesfield and Stockport. I'm sure the zero amount of natural light numbs the brain cells. Hence the staff become apathetic. Though, l have seen items online and have gone into the store to purchase them, without any issues. Good staff ... Good store.The quality of the products and the prices are very competitive, even better than those online with other companies. Pleasing in store experience, hence 5/5 score

   Probably the worst company and store in UK. No staff around . Lazy, uninterested, apathy . Trainers I purchased last week for a birthday gift had wrong size in box that staff member had got from stock. Consequently I was embarrassed after I gave to my daughter. Had to make a special trip to exchange. No apologies from staff member, zero manners. Would rather pay full price than ever step foot in the store again. Also three customers walked out without being served as they were fed up waiting.

   Absolute joke of a store. I was told and shown by a stock checker in another Sports Direct location that a specific item was in stock at this branch. So naturally, I made the trip—only to be met with lazy, uninterested managers who outright refused to check the backstock or even do a simple stock enquiry. No effort, no care, no customer service. It’s honestly baffling how a major retailer like this can operate with such unprofessional and unhelpful staff. If the system says you have the item, maybe get off your chair and actually look for it? Or at the very least, pretend to care? Won’t be shopping here again. Do better.

   Items incorrectly priced in store. The manager needs lessons in customer satisfaction. Will likely lose more customers if they insist on not taking ownership of their own errors

   Very poor service. No one to help get the correct shoe size so we qued up to get help from the counter, then when in the middle of service to buy the shoes we were left waiting while she served other people, it wasn't worth to wait another 10 minutes when we were already at the front of the que. The checkout girl clearly was not proactive to see we were waiting to pay for the 3 pairs of shoes. Ended up leaving the store, first time in sports direct won't come back.

   'Twas six days before Christmas and no-one was stirring, not even enough SportsDirect employees on the shop floor. One staff on the floor, one staff on the till and a dozen shoppers waiting...and waiting, and waiting for service while the one floor staff tendered to some guy trying to determine a shoe and size for his wife. That'll work... Anyway, last cash they'll see from me.

   Rang up Friday to see if can get a football top with my sons name on yes come in Monday that’s when back off holiday , came in today on his birthday to be told no sorry might not be done today the person doing it is interviewing most of the day !! What ??? Don’t customers come first ??!! Lost £80 I will never return disgusted I am hope your happy letting a 11 year old boy down too

   I would have given it 5 stars based on the bigger store building, more room to get around and browse and the friendly guy on the till. I gave 4 because when I asked a guy on the shop floor if they had what I wanted and couldn't find , I simply got if we have it will be on one of those 3 stands. Had he of actually come and helped me look and gave me some proper customer service I would have given it 5 stars.
