Slow service when only 2 people in front. Paid over Β£17 for 3 small ice creams (on kid wafer cones) and 2 brownies. The Ice cream left a lot to be desired too, not creamy seemed to have a grainy consistency.

I β€˜lunch’ here today with my toddler grandson. Very limited menu as normal chef not working. I had a tiny ramekin of beans with 2 slices of toast done on one side only for some reason. My grandson wanted the sausages which came out looking raw and pink so asked for cooked .. they were horrible. I had a latΓ©. Β£18 ! It used to be a lovely place to eat but it has been increasingly worse every time I’ve been. It’ll be homemade sandwiches and a flask when I visit Loggerheads in future. I like dogs but the table next to us had a dog that whined loudly the whole time we were there.

I have visited a number of times and the staff are always friendly, the service is always brilliant, even when there's a coach party of 30+ people also in at the same time! They greet regulars as friends, and the food is excellent (+ they don't skimp on the portion sizes). They have a number of highchairs available and a basket of things to help keep children occupied, as well as a children's menu, and dogs are made very welcome. The menu is quite varied and the cake and ice cream selections are very good. They were also serving afternoon tea while I was there, which looked very good, although I didn't partake.

Fantastic coffee choice! The tea was also very good. Food and cakes looked tasty too. Can tell care is taken with the produce but keeping very fair prices . Nice place to warm up after a walk or sit outside in the sun trap field

Looks like a basic cafe but far from it! Top quality homemade food with plenty of veggie and vegan options. Great coffee. Books for kids to enjoy too. Perfect spot for after a walk.

Used to be a great place but has gone downhill. Prices have risen significantly and are some of the most expensive in the area for breakfast items. Service last 2 visits was slow and sulky. Scones were stale.

Brilliant locally produced food, lovely staff and very welcoming after a long walk in the valley. The prices have gone up recently but understanding due to the cost of ingredients. The portions are large so very well justified on the price.

Disappointing! We have been visiting for several years after a walk, always in October. Usually it's really busy with a lively atmosphere - great Halloween decorations too! We have always been satisfied with the food and drink. But this year - inside was empty, minus the decorations! The drinks were expensive. Not good value for money. Will check reviews next year before we visit...

It was my first time at this place with my partner even though she lives in Mold she used to tell me the story when she was little how she used to come to this place with her friends after-school and summer holidays so I travel on my way from London to come to this place I was not disappointed beautiful scenery is not to see unfortunately it's a rainy day the beautiful landscape and the mountains surrounding that makes this place enjoyable place to be with children also there is a cafe for dog lovers also a gift shop and other activities.
