“This place had the cleanest toilets iv ever visited in a pub, the whole bar was just supper clean, and the beer was good too, first time visit, will be back for sure”
“Classic old school cafe. Legends Breakfast was sensational, filled me up for the day for £11! Fast friendly service, great prices, fantastic scran!”
“Best breakfast in the area bar none. We (Three of us) go for breakfast every Monday in a 10 mile radius of mold, and value for money, quality food and friendly service they are right up with the best, try the ultimate breakfast. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!”
“The best ambience / atmosphere and Pizza's anywhere I know - a Special Pizza restaurant with traditional pizza stove; cafe and lovely staff - absolutely recommended. Lovely views across the street to st Mary's church. Candles lit in the evening - a super cosy place.”
“Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Deadwood Smokehouse in Mold sooner — we’ve eaten here so many times over the years, it’s definitely our go-to place! The food is always spot on, with a great choice of dishes whether you’re in the mood for ribs, burgers, or something a bit different. The portions are generous, everything is full of flavour, and there’s a really good selection of drinks to go with it too. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the service is consistently excellent no matter how busy it gets. There’s a great atmosphere — relaxed, lively, and perfect for both casual meals and nights out with friends or family. Highly recommend Deadwood Smokehouse — it never disappoints!”
“Very friendly service. The food was a very generous portion and tasted fabulous. A relaxed atmosphere with a nice bit of music. Will definitely go back if we come this way again.”
“10/10 top tier full English breakfast , good service and great value. Exactly what you want from a traditional cafe.”
“Great pub, been a few times recently and the staff are brilliant, good atmosphere and really good prices. We last went on a Friday and they had a band playing who were great.”
“This Starbucks is fine if you use the drive through but don't bother going into the shop if it's within 2 hours of closing. I've been a few times now (more than an hour before closing time) and they're not happy you're there!”
“Food is lovely from here but service can be slow and staff seem a bit stressed. Great menue selection and always clean and tidy”
“Absolutely excellent customer service from the very first phone call with Lisa to leaving the garage a very happy customer. Everything about the repair was fully explained ahead of the works and I was made to feel very welcome. The expertise and knowledge of Land Rover is first class. It was highly recommended to me to use Rhydymwyn Service and now I can highly recommend them myself.”
“Review for Tapas Evening at Caffi'r Cob. We recently enjoyed a wonderful tapas evening at Caffi'r Cob (group of four adults) and WOW we certainly didn't leave disappointed, it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and perfect for sharing. The variety on offer meant there was something for everyone, and each plate felt like a little highlight of its own. We absolutely love the day time atmosphere at Caffi'r Cob and the evening atmosphere was just as warm and relaxed, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the evening. Service was friendly, attentive, and well-timed, adding to the overall experience without ever feeling rushed. All four of us left thoroughly impressed, full, happy, and already talking about when we’ll be back. A brilliant evening all around and highly recommended!”
“First visit to this cafe set within a motorcycle haven. We had not visited before due to parking for cars being an issue however a new car park across the road is now available. There is still the motorbike parking next to the cafe. Situated next to a lovely stream there is seating under cover outside overlooking the stream and wooded valley. Inside there is so much memorabilia you don’t know where to look first. We had just arrived after a large party so had to wait as the kitchen was very busy but we only waited 20 minutes till we could order. That 20 minutes flew by as we looked at the items on display. We have an all day breakfast and pie and chips. The food was very good and served quickly. Lovely staff and a great atmosphere in the family run cafe. The prices were really good and definitely value for money. Definitely recommend a visit and will be visiting again.”
“Amazing pub. Our weekly visit after a week of work. Great place to just chill out. Place is always spotless, great space indoor and out, friendly environment and the BEST part is that it’s 100% DOG FRIENDLY!”

“Very tasty food, we both ordered the breakfast. So lovely. Will be eating here again and again”
“Fabulous little country village pub. Lots of nooks and crannies in addition to the public bar. Fine selection of real ales supported by wines and spirits. Lots of tracks and trails to walk and build a thirst. Beer garden also for fine days.”
“A real pub. Brilliant food. Very welcoming. They were not serving food on Sunday evening but Vicki made up two pizzas for us to take home and cook in our holiday cottage.Old fashioned pub clearly supported by locals. Wish it was my local”
“Wonderful, friendly community cafe with live music. Thank you”
“Nice Friendly Pub & Staff. Been here quite a few times for Clay Pigeon shooting and food. Always a warm welcome and friendly.”
“Great atmosphere, friendly attentive staff and a great selection of food and drinks. It feels authentic, you could be in a tapas bar in Spain or Morocco. A great little gem in Mold.”
“A proper nice independent coffee shop, situated a floor above the ground level, in the heart of the city centre! Easy to miss! Look for a door next door to Popeye's Chicken. The decor inside is certainly "Rococo"; we loved it. We came here because they offered a small choice of vegan tray bakes. The raspberry rocky road was divine! Nice smooth coffee and a friendly atmosphere. Enjoyed sitting by the front window watching the hustle and bustle on the high street.”
“It's the staff who make The Druid Inn a terrific place to visit. We stayed for 3 nights while doing Offa's Dyke Path, and were made to feel very welcome. The staff transported us to the start of our walk each day and collected us in the afternoons - with plenty of conversation to keep us entertained. The restaurant menu was extensive enough to keep our interest, and the food excellent. We appreciated the big breakfasts and packed lunches. The rooms are compact but well equipped and comfortable.”
“Steak and chippy chips what more can you ask for. Oh wait unlimited chippy chips is what. Great tasting steaks to pair with unlimited chippy chips will definitely be back.”
“I've eaten here a few times now and have always found the staff, service and food to be excellent. I've popped in on a weekend without booking and they've very kindly found us a table, not that I'm recommending just rocking up unannounced of course, but they do go above and beyond to help you out. I'm sure you'll enjoy a nice quite meal here. Sunday lunch for four, with an alcoholic drink each £80'ish.”
“First visit with two young children on route to our holiday destination. Lovely little find, really reasonably priced, child friendly, great portion sizes and great service. Will definitely be back.”
“amazing place on a weekend friendly staff and always feel welcomed by them. Staff are very hardworking and always polite”
“Great local with a great atmosphere, great customers and with the addition of the Burger Shack even better experience”
“Visiting from Oxfordshire for the weekend and we found this lovely little tea room , staff was really friendly , food was good portions for the price and it’s a really cute little place for breakfast and also lunch options available , we had some really nice hot drinks and some home made cake was all very tasty !”
“One of my favourite places. The food is gorgeous from their Italian cuisine to the omelettes. Always friendly and happy, the staff make people feel at home. The place is constantly busy but Maria still finds time to say hello, sadly that prevents her from always answering the phone but you can find the correct number for the cafe on the Facebook page x”
