Decided to let fireworks off at 10 PM next to a block of flats where people have babies asleep. Inconsiderate.
Do you remember the song "The pub with no beer"? Well today that is so true. They have a sticker in the window "Community pub of the year 2025" Question is where? Is this a group award, it can't be for "The Crown". I go there for a quick pint before shopping at S#insbury's opposite.
Won’t comment on anything other then the service. I ordered one pint. Was met by a rude female bartender. Left a quarter of the pint empty. Was getting dirty looks from the staff and the other customers, who all looked like regulars. Maybe it’s because I’m not a regular, as opposed to my skin tone. Would definitely not recommend, wishing I could rate less than 1

It's my local.....Great landlady, great staff, good cheap beer,lots of colourful locals, even the Karaoke grows on you!
UPDATE: Back again yesterday, some 6 months after my last visit. Same review all over again. One of the best pubs for away football supporters that I have visited. Excellent pub for away supporters on match day. Free pint, yes, FREE PINT, if you're happy to wear your colours as we did yesterday!! Clare was very friendly, Beer and atmosphere great! Highly recommended.
We happened to come across this gem of a pub on a visit to the area. The moment we entered both the staff and customers were very welcoming. The price of drinks was excellent, for two pints we were charged less than £5 and my husband who likes his real ales had a lovely pint of Ghostship. We might return to Sutton just to visit The Crown again.
Brilliant Brilliant! I was a bit oiled up when I arrived here & I was allowed to buy 1 more pint & fair play to the governor , he told his staff to refuse me any more alcohol!! I was with a few mates, & had to drink f@@@@ Coca-Cola Thanks governor you are doing your job as it is meant to be done, you protected me from my silly self!!! THANK YOU again x God bless
I live in Toronto, Canada & visit at least once a year. The Crown has been my overseas local for years, simply due to the friendly staff & good company. 5 stars!!
Cracking place. Great staff and management who give off a nice friendly vibe. TV shows all the sports. Live music and karaoke during some evenings as well.
