Nice little town pub to go to with a couple mates. Always a nice atmosphere and busy. Most importantly pints are served quick. Great staff

This place would be a 5* if it had Tim Taylor's on all the time, when more often than not, I end up drinking Cruzcampo (watered down UK version of course, not the proper version), plenty of options, just not for me. The garden in this place though is fantastic, second to none around here.

Was in here on Friday, lunch time. It looks quite small from the outside but once inside it has lots of areas to go. Itβs like a tardis. There was no accessible toilet but it does have toilets outside that are a single room, which would work as they are quite spacious. Although not sure a wheelchair would fit in. It was quite quiet when I visited which was great at the time. The staff were amazingly helpful and accommodating. I get the impression it comes to life in the evenings and at weekends, which I would love to see.

Week 1 the booze tube ,Around our world on a freedom pass Tamar and Kwame looked after us and kept us safe Measures are 25ml single 50ml double The pub is light and airy like an ninja air fryer, the Guinness was cold but not too cold. Tamar picked our next pub on the random spin app. Look out Acton Town

Our baked Camembert gooed with creamy Camembertness and a gentle hint of rosemary. The firmness of the generous sourdough bread made good scooping and dipping tools. Though we had to ask for cutlery to make eating easier. There is too much cheese to only use bread as eating utensils! One time, a coaching inn for people travelling north from London, The Griffin has long been a pub keeping some old-world charm. I warmed my teddy fur by one of the open fireplaces whilst watching Arsenal beat Aston Villa in the Premiership on a large TV screen above one fireplace! Wall paneling, panel doors, and stone floor lend themselves to avoiding this friendly bei A grade 2 listed building at the back used to be stables. We didnβt see this or the garden. The large coaching arch with its big doors sits to the right of the building face. One of the bar staff politely and discreetly asked Mummy Debra to not take so many photos as people might feel uncomfortable. Though when Arsenal beat Aston Villa, four men on the table next to ours wanted to be photographed with me. We explained what had been said. The barmaid overheard and said it was fine as they wanted the photo. She ended up taking the photograph herself so Mummy Debra could be in it too! Thank you! This is a dog-friendly pub and there are doggy treats for the canine punters! Not overly modernised but had dashes of mod cons.

Such a nice, easy going pub. The service is always outstanding as the staff are so lovely and always willing to help. Good spot for a family Sunday roast. Opted for the trio and it hit the spot! Thank you

This pub is great weβre so lucky to have it as our local. The atmosphere is always nice and thereβs so many different areas to chill and drink with friends family or a date. The garden in the summer huge and the best around and now theyβve put up a gazebo for the winter itβs lush. The staff are fantastic and are all so friendly and the food is lovely especially the chicken wings. Really recommend the Griffin
