“Truly delicious and exciting food - highly recommend the pani puri and aloo firecracker. We went on a weekday so it was very quiet and a nice ambience. The manager was rude and abrasive to his staff in front of us which was disappointing, but hopefully a one-off.”

“A lovely little cafe I came across as being new to the area and on maternity leave. The surrounding park is gorgeous and I often pit stop at Sassis for some iced coffee and a snack :) The owner, Wayne, was super accommodating for my little one’s first birthday and let us reserve a few tables for our family & friends. The staff were amazing, very friendly & helpful throughout the day! Food & drink, as always, was great too :) Definitely recommend this lovely little cafe to anyone, we’ll be back again soon!”

“A really lovely pub. We like to eat inside and love the decor. Staff are super friendly and service excellent. (Server was Cello; last time we came it was Poppy- both lovely as was everyone else.) Four of us are vegetarian and chose very nice dishes (carrot soup; hummus dish; pimientos de Padrón; veggie wellington; goats cheese salad; fish and chips. We also love the soda bread.) “This place is a hidden gem and so glad to have been introduced to it. The management team - Cedric & Pippa - have really done an amazing job with this place. The vibe is on point, drinks are spectacular and food is incredible - freshly made and restaurant level, particularly with their specials. Cannot recommend more highly and glad to be a new regular!”

“I had a genuinely excellent stay at ibis Styles London Ealing, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the hotel felt welcoming, modern, and well cared for. After a long journey, Mac made the check-in process smooth, friendly, and completely stress-free, which instantly put me at ease and set a great tone for the stay. The room itself was spotless with a unique cinema theme that made it stand out from a typical hotel room. I especially appreciated the small personal touches, a welcome card waiting in the room and a little chocolate, which was such a nice surprise and made me feel genuinely welcomed. Another thoughtful detail that really impressed me was the complimentary pastries available one of the evenings I was there, along with free orange juice for guests. It’s a small gesture, but it adds a warm, generous feel to the hotel and shows real attention to guest experience. The room was comfortable, quiet, and relaxing, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was friendly and calm. Everything felt well organized and cared for, and it’s clear the team takes pride in what they do. I would happily stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent service and thoughtful touches throughout.”

This was a fantastic Wetherspoons, admittedly the wait for food was a little longer than I’m used to at Wetherspoons locations but otherwise this was an amazing experience. Loved the breakfast with many options and again with great staff that was very observant and kept everything clean and tidy around the buffet and tables. The hotel sits next to the Underground (Aldgate East) and just a 10 min. walk to Liverpool Street Station. So thumbs up - would choose again.”

The location is fantastic, with easy access to public transport, nearby attractions, and plenty of conveniences around. She said we have both then she asked is it because you don't eat pork i said yes she then said unfortunately it's cooked in the same oil. “After staying at dozens of Holiday Inns in the USA this came as an amazing surprise as the level of service and standards was far far higher than expected. The rooms, although somewhat cozy felt brand new and the bed and pillows were outstanding. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and extensive and the only thing that detracted from the experience was the fact that there were rampaging, yelling and screaming children running roughshot all throughout the dining and buffet area. Would definitely stay here again, but will bring earplugs now down to the restaurant.”

“Pretty much a near perfect stay at Manor House travelodge. Location perfect, right on top of Manor House Picadilly line tube. We'd booked a standard room as only there one night, but we were surprisingly updated to a superior room for free and no real reason. We didnt eat there but will when we return sometime. Also all staff we encountered were friendly and cheerful. Bed comfy as well which equals a good nights kip. All in all, recomended.”

“I stayed here for three nights while attending Comic Con a couple of stops away on the tube. Reception staff were nothing but friendly and helpful any time I needed them. They were even happy to keep my bag in a cloakroom while I was at day 1 of the event and checking in quite late after it was over (about 9pm) wasn't an issue. The room was minimal frills, but had a nice spacious bed that was quite comfortable. The shower worked fine, as did the TV, and there's a hairdryer and clothes iron provided if you need it. A bonus point was the nice big window providing a decent view of the skyline nearby. Everything was clean and well kept and my room was cleaned every day while I was out so no complaints there. There is a bar in the lobby that's open from midday until 2am which was good for a nice pint to wind down after a day at the con. There is also breakfast included in the price which is good compared to some hotels that charge extra for it. It's fairly basic standard hotel breakfast stuff but it's certainly not bad for what it is. The bacon in particular was pretty good. Only real issue was that one of the two lifts wasn't working due to maintenance, so the one remaining lift could get quite packed with people, but this was at least warned ahead of time when making the booking. Overall very solid hotel for the price, especially as it's conveniently situated nearby to venues such as the O2 and Excel.”

“I visited Wood Green Vue Cinema with my daughter. We came for a lunchtime screening, and the cinema was almost empty—just three other people besides us. The film was great, the auditorium was clean, and everything worked perfectly. I had read comments about poor lighting and sound, but we didn’t experience any of that. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!”

“It was great stay over there. Liked the food as well as the atmosphere and most importantly the service. The guy named Limon from the reception was wonderful with everything. He made my stay amazing by helping me through every procedure. Was there for my business trip and coming back again in the same place. Would definitely suggest to go there and met this amazing guy. “The peak of cinema experiences. If you haven't experienced something like this before you will be amazed at the size of the cinema rooms. Massive would be an understatement. The lobby area is very spacious though they can do with faster service at times. There are no prices displayed anywhere at the counters which I find insane. You have to ask the staff how much every single thing costs to be able to make a choice. And post COVID-19 inflation has really had an impact and made cinema experiences quite pricey but that is not a VUE issue. One thing I really don't like is that you have to pick your seats with different seats having different pricing. That's a bit too much money milking for me. I would prefer they just had the lowest price and seats was first come first serve like it has always been. I paid for seating at the back and ended up in a basically empty room and couldn't help feeling like I should have just paid for the cheapest seats and just sat anywhere I wanted since the room was empty. One advantage of this particular location is that it is situated within a retail park so you can park for free, as opposed to other VUE locations that are within malls work paid parking.”
