“It's a nice little café with friendly staff. It's a quiet and pleasant place to read books and take a break. The food was decent, but the portion sizes were a bit small for the price.”

Huge beer garden, lovely pints and topping it all, a class Guinness mural. One of the best Irish pubs in the UK.”

“Hard to imagine what the community of Falconwood would do without this cheery little boozer. Friendly staff, good drinks, and a fantastic pub quiz every month. They make the most of the space they have with a buzzing front room, bright and airy back room, and a covered front for summer days.”

“Hired the place out for my 40th party last weekend and had a blast. I paid extra for a late license which takes music up to about 12, but means you don’t have to exit until around 1 - highly recommend for a bit of flexibility. Price is really reasonable for hire, but also the drinks & food are too. The food was fab, I even brought home some for the next day and it was super tasty. Everyone who attended had a fab time and the staff there on the evening couldn’t do enough to make it a special night! I know family who are local will look to use the venue again.”

“Staying Locally from Scotland and we came across the Pizza room. Food was gorgeous, sign outside says pizza made properly and rhey are not wrong. We even boxedup our leftovers as the portion was too much for one sitting. They had a great selection including a Dubai chocolate inspired dessert pizza. I eould highly recommend to people in the area and would visit again.”

I am visiting this restaurant for the third time and I always find this place filled with people having laughter and joy. Such a nice vibe I have at this place. The lady who owns the restaurant is main reason for keeping this place lively. Such a nice woman, manages everything by her own bootstraps. Reasons to visit this restaurant: Great place, fabulous food, heartfelt service, free WIFI if you need to spend time alone and of-course ample slots to park your vehicle. At last, may be opportunity to handshake with some light minded senior audience.”

“My friend and I came here for dinner after seeing the great reviews online, and they were absolutely right. We arrived on a Wednesday around 8 PM without a reservation, and the restaurant was completely full — yet the staff kindly managed to find us a table for two. They were incredibly accommodating despite how busy it was. You could really feel the energy from the kitchen — it was clearly in full swing, every dish coming out looked fantastic, and you could tell the cooks were working their hardest. The food itself was outstanding: high-quality ingredients, beautifully balanced flavours, and that unmistakable sense that it was made with care and pride. I’d definitely recommend booking ahead, as it’s a popular spot for good reason. Everything we had tasted fresh, authentic, and deeply satisfying — some of the best Korean food I’ve had in London. Also, a special mention to our friendly host — I think his name was Jerry or Larry (forgive me if I’ve got that wrong!) — who asked to be named in this review to win a bet. Consider this his victory! In short, Parks Kitchen is a gem in Ealing — warm service, excellent food, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.”

“We had a great experience here. The chicken is absolutely delicious, perfectly crispy and full of flavour. The sauces are amazing, especially the honey garlic and the spicy one. The beer is served in a frozen glass, which makes all the difference and tastes incredible. The owner is very welcoming and friendly, adding to the lovely atmosphere. The place is also very clean and well looked after. Highly recommend if you are in the area and want really good chicken”

“We were playing Golf at the London Club and I contacted the pub and asked if they would accommodate 4 of us for a full English breakfast before we went to the Golf Club. The manager Steve called me and it was arranged. We had a reserved table and they did us proud. 3 x Full English, Egg, Fried Slice, Mushroom, Sausage and Beans £9.99. Absolute Bargain. We play this every year so this will definitely be an annual pop in for breakfast! Atmosphere in the pub was great and it was spotless thank you once again”

“Oh my word. My husband and I came here with high expectations for our anniversary. Firstly, a sincere shoutout to the friendly and highly attentive waitstaff. We reserved in advance (which I recommend doing as it gets busy!) and they had actually read my booking notes. In the notes I mentioned I was pregnant and so they double checked I was happy with the preparation and ingredients of certain dishes. The menu leans towards the spicy and salty side, but at the same time is very fragrant and aromatic. Quite addictive really! I’ve seen viral videos of that Tom Yam deluxe noodle dish so obviously we had to get it. It was delicious, but to my surprise, my favourite dish was their Naem fried rice. It’s been about a week since our visit and I’m still licking my lips thinking about it. To top everything off, we got a surprise scoop of taro ice cream. How adorable is that? Lots of love to Speedboat. We’ll be back, and definitely before our next anniversary!”

“My family is visiting London from the USA and we stopped here for a Friday breakfast! What a pleasant choice!! We all loved everything we got. I personally ordered the Hollandaise Poached Egg with Ham, a side of Alsace Bacon, and the French Breakfast Mariage Frere tea! Everything was lovely!!! The Poached Egg was phenomenal and tasty, and the Hollandaise was delicious. It was the perfect horton size. The bacon was my favorite bacon I’ve had in London so far, and the tea was the perfect breakfast choice! Not to mention, the atmosphere and decor was beautiful! My family continued to rave about how lovely the music was, the pretty inside and outside seating, and the presentation of everything! It was all lovely and we would all dine here again! P.S. I also tried my sister’s banana and nutella waffle and that was delicious too! She has a health issue that allows her to usually only eat small portions and she feels nauseous when she eats, but she ate at least 2/3 of the waffle and loved it!”

“We decided to come here for a birthday dinner and we were very glad we did! The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. They were also great with our kids. The food was very tasty with various things available on the menu and the portion size was generous especially considering how reasonable the price was. I would definitely recommend this restaurant everyone I know.”

“Proper old school cafe with great food options at reasonable prices. Have just moved out the area and gutted as this was just around the corner. Do the best quarter pounder burger (get it with cheese burger sauce and lettuce and onions!). They’ll do whatever you want to order, always cooked fresh and the guy behind the till is a top guy! If you want a fresh sub, sandwich, fried breakfast or burger and in the area this is the place to go. Also great atmosphere of locals, regulars, mix of people.”

“A lovely little place tucked away by Surbiton station with a vast array of vegatarian options and a cosy, friendly feel. I had Foul-bil-Laban and a mint tea, both of which arrived quickly. My meal was not only delicious, super flavourful and fresh tasting, but a very generous portion! Definitely recommend, whether for a lunch or just a coffee break, as their drinks and dessert menus were also quite extensive and tasty looking.”

“Went here on the off chance for breakfast. Ordered scrambled eggs on toast and hot chocolate. The eggs were done to my liking and the hot chocolate was really nice, not too sweet. The waitress was very polite and cheerful. Would go here again.”

“Best Sunday roast in Watford. We came around 4 pm few times and the service and the owner is always very nice. Best book in advance for Sunday Roast as it sells out very quickly. This pub won Watford Observer Award 2023.”

“We were a group of 8 and we had excellent service. Many unique beer options available and it was sort of fun to try out different flavours. Some were okay but some didn't go well with us. But that's okay anyway! No parking provision. They have toilet provisions. We didn't order food, but had beers. No concerns to mention.”
