excellent food. usually chef is very good. best prices for breakfast, especially that excellent breakfast. I think £6 for full really nice breakfast. As good as any very good breakfast staff are really polite and professional usually. full stars as the value for money is great.

I must say I’ve been here for breakfast a couple of times and all of those times something was wrong with the food , on this occasion I ordered a traditional breakfast and my beans came cold, they weren’t even a little warm , my egg was overcooked and it just want a pleasant experience. I know the place is cheap and it’s great but just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean the quality of the food should be low. It’s a shame really because during the afternoon I rarely encounter problems but breakfast here is a no.

A Great Local Spot for Comfort and Value. If you’re ever around Streatham and in need of a relaxed spot for food or drinks, The Holland Tringham is well worth a visit. I’d popped in with friends for a quick lunch and it delivers exactly what we were after: good value, and a wide variety of food and drink options. One of the things I appreciate most is how airy it feels, especially with the option for outdoor seating when the weather’s nice. It’s a welcoming environment, and even when it’s busy, the vibe is laid back and comfortable. The lunch deal is a winner, especially if you like a fish and chips — they serve it until late and the free refill policy on Lavazza coffee and tea is a big plus. I’ve also tried the deli deals and vegetarian options — surprisingly fresh and filling for pub food. And if you’re after something heartier, the burgers and pizzas are a safe bet. Service is generally fast and efficient, especially if you use the Wetherspoon app for table service. I love that there’s step-free access and free Wi-Fi as well — makes it an easy spot for anyone to spend time without fuss. All in all, The Holland Tringham ticks a lot of boxes for me — casual, affordable, friendly, and flexible for different times of day. Definitely a local gem for Streatham.

I didn't eat on this occasion, but I was impressed with how busy it was and also the offer on Backyard IPA for £2.45. Small beer garden and fairly large indoor area. Being so busy gave it a vibrant atmosphere. Short walk to bus stops and a bit further to the nearby train station.

Today I resolved never to return to The Holland Tringham. There are some great staff members but I find it tragic when not all staff follow their employer's philosophy. I appreciate Wetherspoon"s contribution to society. The decent food, quality drink, and comfortable ambiance have improved days out, and lives, of many people. Food at The Holland Tringham is hit & miss (random whether you get a diligent chef or careless chef), but 31/3/23 I had the most atrocious meal and service of my life. I was upset the waitress asked how my food was, but LAUGHED and walked off. She threw it away and the manageress refused to believe how horrible it had been.

Have a soft spot for this pub! Staff are always fantastic and a decent selection of beers / atmosphere, obviously at a very reasonable price! Food has dropped off a lot over recent years though (probably spoons more generally than just THT!) and the interiors could do with a bit of TLC - but will keep going back regardless!

Not that many 'Spoons are good. This one is. Nice friendly service, and the standard good value food/drink. Large inside area (though a bit bright) and a reasonable size outdoor area too.

First visit here for nearly 15 years. It is a decidedly different place. The pub was very clean and tidy which is a far cry from the disaster this place was back in the day. And thankfully the dubious odours are a thing of the past. The staff were friendly and actually seemed eager- again, a major improvement. All in all it seems a nice place with the only downside being the large vine covered trellises are now gone but it's still a nice place. The breakfast (with eggs) was excellent as was the Guinness.

I used to like this place definitely gone down hill hygienically. Flies were flying around the tea area and the toilets had excrement on the floor and doors... how vile considering this is a place to eat food. The staff was very attentive and pleasant.. (Holly) i think her name was, very helpful
