   On Saturday I had the misfortune of my alternator (and therefore my battery) dying on me mid-journey and stranding me in Purley. It was good fortune that I happened to break down near Purley Garage and just about managed to limp it onto their forecourt as the car died. The friendly staff there immediately set about confirming the issue and were also observant enough to point out that our water pump was ready to blow and take out the entire engine. They managed to source the required parts and get both problems fixed within a few hours, allowing us to continue our journey that we assumed we would have to abandon. The replacement of the drive and timing belts they did also sorted out a bad steering wheel rattle that had mystified my usual garage for months, so for this I am extremely grateful! A huge thanks to these guys for saving the day, I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

   Amazing service - quick, friendly, fairly priced. My car broke down on Monday afternoon and Purley Garage not only set me up with a speedy recovery (I was stranded with my toddler - shout out to Road Home recovery), but also fixed the clutch and rear shock absorbers the next day. I'd called several garages in a panic, but they couldn't help with recovery and had all got 2 week waiting lists and I really rely on my car. Purley Garage truly saved me this week, I highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future
