   A great experience. I am fussy where I get my MOTs having experienced issues in the past. I was recommended this place as they don’t have to use one of those jiggly machines that aren’t great for cars which are of a certain age. However this didn’t mean that my car wasn’t thoroughly inspected and minor issues brought to my attention for information purposes only. Taz was only too helpful and when I mentioned I was concerned that I might have some damage after having run over a big branch in my other car, he offered to look at it free of charge. I brought my car to him and he found a missing screw on the underside which he replaced free of charge. I don’t know whether the earlier poor reviews were meant for another place but this certainly wasn’t my experience. Highly recommended and only £50 for the MOT.

   AVOID AT ALL COSTS - INFLATED PRICES. Booked MOT through Fixter - got told I needed to replace front break discs and break pads. When I reviewed the invoice and compared the price of parts to a retail website the price was 3x higher with Thornton Heath Autos. They use the cheapest possible parts and charge extortionate amounts for them. Avoid at all costs.

   Sought help from Thornton Autocentre after receiving a very hefty and seemingly unnecessarily huge repair quote from Halfrauds Sydenham after they failed my MOT. Was greeted and tended to by Taz, who was very knowledgeable, honest and professional and told me what the crack was. He agreed to run another MOT there and then as he had a little time spare and he completed this in 45 minutes. Could not fault this garage and will absolutely be using them again. Thank you Taz!
