Bus service from Lichfield doesn't run after 6pm, but obviously this isn't a problem if you've got a car. Comfortable bed in the room, great choices at breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. A special thank you to James, who went above and beyond with his customer care when he found out we had just come from a family funeral.

We have tried several hotels in the area and without doubt this is our favourite. Reception is clean, well lit and welcoming with very helpful staff. The rooms are well equipped with al you need including free Wifi. After a good night's sleep there is a good buffet breakfast in the bar area. We always look forward to staying there.

Very convenient hotel for a night. Nice big bed and clean room, nice breakfast with plenty of options. Shootout to Liam who was very quick at clearing everything and was friendly. Next to some fast food places and near the motorway.

WARNING. Despite entering my reg number I received a fine. Thankfully this was resolved by the Hotel but worth you taking a photo of your confirmation. Apart from the above all good with the HIE Litchfield. Great staff (especially Michael re the fine). Rooms clean, breakfast good, beds comfy.

The reception staff were very friendly, kind and accommodating. I stayed for a wedding and I needed a pin for my dress and an envelope - they helpfully searched for and provided both. We asked for a late check out at 10am that morning and were granted later check out at no extra cost. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and pleasant but would benefit from air conditioning.

Lovely welcome, easy registration. Warm, spacious and comfy room. Buffet style breakfast with cooked and continental options - all freshly cooked and good quality. What's not to like? Thank you to all staff.

I’ve have stayed here a few times now they do have some rooms with bigger beds that are way more comfortable as I’m quite a big lad. The bigger beds are first come first serve as I’ve been told by management on numerous occasions, they have also told me to call after Booking and request the room preferred so today I done just this as advised to speak to someone who first said they was a team leader then changed her job role to duty manager telling me the rooms are available, but I have to pay extra if I want the room. I asked how much extra would I need to pay she then changed again to would have to cancel my reservation and book again. I asked for her name to make a complaint. She refused to give it to me. I called back and asked her colleagues for her name. They told me she had just finished her shift and they also refused to give me her details. I ask for her name said “Nikki Page” I advised Nikki page that she had a legal obligation to share her managers name with me in order for me to make a complaint she replied “then I’m breaking the law I don’t care about this job anyway, this is not my only job” very rude really bad attitude from Staff very unprofessional. Really sad experience today. They have now cancelled my reservation because I said I was going to complain when I asked who I was speaking to they just put the phone down!!!

Nice location. McDonalds next door if you like that sort of thing. Plenty of parking. Food okay...I had the pepperoni pizza which was average - not a deep pan fan. Overall the hotel is good for the price paid. Breakfast is complimentary at HIE.

I've basically lived here for the last 3 months working away from home. I can't praise the staff enough. Always a friendly face on reception, they go above and beyond, making you feel welcome. Room is always clean and comfortable. Highly recommend. Huge thanks to all staff.

We had a great stay. The whole hotel was very clean and comfortable. We were welcomed warmly by all staff with a special mention for Carl who helped us get checked in. Our dog was made welcome too - very dog friendly. Breakfast was from 6.30 - 9.30 and was tasty and catered for vegans. A good selection of food available all day. We sat in the bar area for a few drinks and pizza in the evening and it was nice to see other guests enjoying this space too. Would highly recommend to all.
