“It took a lot for us to leave our cats in a cattery as they are very shy and it was our first time But I knew this was the right place the moment I seen it. Lynsey and Carl were more than happy for me to visit before booking. It was quiet and so pretty. All of the cats had a huge space to live in and were rolling on their backs and purring when Lynsey and Carl went past each apartment. The space for the cats is huge. Plenty of room to play and climb, aswell as wild birds to watch from their windows. When we dropped our cats off we got to bring them to the room and settle them in. I cannot recommend this place enough. I felt confident knowing that our boys were in the best of hands and would be loved and cared for.”
“Great service from chattings and all the staff that helped us through the application and signing process. Becky really took her time with us on our viewing, answering all questions and leaving us feeling confident with the new property.”
“Second time eating here in the past month and both times the food has been amazing. Staff are polite and helpful and the venue has been tastefully refurbished. Our new favourite place to eat. Tha you all.”
“Great place close to town centre. Modern rooms and superb breakfast. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend eating here as well. The menu and food is fantastic.”
“Room was pristine, bumped into the housekeeper as I was checking in and she made sure I had everything I needed. The hotel is attached to a charming country style pub with amazing food and fantastic staff. The location is on a busy road but also a 5 minute bus from the town centre which was a beautiful place to spend the day and has lots of local amenities. I would recommend this hotel to a person travelling alone or as a couple for a peaceful retreat as the location has fantastic transport links all over the country.”
“It's not the first time we are using them. We prefer them over the online holiday provider due to the human contact. All the questions will be answered, you can compare different locations and the consultant can tell you their personal experience over a location. Customer service is brilliant, the team is vwry nuce and helpful. Heidi helped us this time to make our decision. We will always return to them.”
“I had an incredible stay at The Belfry, and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or attentive. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help, which made the whole experience feel special. The food was outstanding — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Whether it was breakfast, dinner, or snacks throughout the day, everything was consistently high quality. The gym was well-equipped, spotless, and perfect for keeping on top of my routine while away. The spa was another highlight: relaxing and the ideal place to unwind. The treatments were exceptional, and the atmosphere was calming from start to finish. A special mention has to go to Chloe and Sarah, who were absolutely fantastic. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made the experience even better. They truly went above and beyond and are a real credit to The Belfry. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough — a flawless stay from start to finish. I’ll definitely be returning!”
“Great location. Rooms are always clean and they don't look tired Staff are lovely and friendly and helpful. But not sure I really like how much self service there has to be. Would like more interaction with a human!”
“The reception staff were very friendly, kind and accommodating. I stayed for a wedding and I needed a pin for my dress and an envelope - they helpfully searched for and provided both. We asked for a late check out at 10am that morning and were granted later check out at no extra cost. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and pleasant but would benefit from air conditioning.”
“Staff are lovely, rooms are very clean and tidy. Asked for extra tea and coffee. I was given free hot chocolate as soon as we arrived. Ignore the bad reviews, car park is pay and display. Free for blue badge holders.”
“Stayed here for business, rooms a bit dated but to be expected with an older hotel. Perfectly adequate. Superb and friendly staff, especially Tamsin in the bar and front desk. Fantastic breakfast which set me up for the day, no need for lunch. Bar downstairs which has good range of dri as and open until midnight for residents. Will stay again. Excellent location, with parking at the rear and a short 10 minute walk into the town centre.”
“Stayed here and it was everything we needed for a one night stay when visiting family. Would benefit from an upgrade and the key was a bit outdated but staff made up for it and more. Never stayed in such a clean premier inn good value for money”
“Excellent cattery. My cat is very happy with his holidays here. The staff are so friendly and love the cats. Always very clean and tidy. I trust them to take the best care of my cat”
“This is the third year in a row that we have taken our boy to Brookfields for a two week stay. The team there are wonderful, Charlie (5 yr old Cavapoo) was in great hands and experienced fantastic care and attention. He always comes back so happy and full of life. Thank you to the team, you do a fantastic job. See you next year!”
“Our beautiful gentle Leonberger Lola is our pride and joy so before entrusting her to any Doggy Daycare or Boarding hotel I had visited quite a few before we chose The Grove. The location is great, just off the M6 Toll in Lichfield. The kennels are super clean and well set up. The staff are really friendly and genuinely take an interest in the dogs. They looked after Lola and sent me pictures and a video of her while we were away. Their drop off/pick up times are really great and the best thing of all Lola came out of there looking like she'd had a ball!”
“A one-night stay on a business visit. Great to have parking around the back. Easy walk into the beautiful town of Lichfield. The room was immaculate and well stocked with coffee pods, teabags, fresh milk, homemade biscuits and toiletries. A lovely breakfast menu served in very pleasant surroundings. Super friendly staff was the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend.”
“Dealt with several estate agents but the service by Preetkamal here at Bairstow Eves came second to none. She was very helpful and nothing has been too much for her. Her efficiency and communication made it possible for me to secure the home I wanted. Would really recommend their in house mortgage services too Sunny has been brilliant! Very pleased with everything.”
“The Dog Inn was recommended by another pub landlord as they were not offering food and the recommendation was on the nose. The food at the Dog Inn is exceptional. We went for a ate afternoon meal on a Friday so there were a number of patrons, however the service was quick and polite. They offer a standard menu as you would expect, with a specials board as well as a pasta of the week and soup of the day. We opted for the latter 2 options as they were Chicken and Chorizo bake and a mixed vegetable soup (which the waitress advised was very nice and the staff we all having it!). Both were absolutely exquisite. The soup was a large portion server with 3 slices of crusty bread and ample butter, which was more than enough for my fiance. Whilst the pasta was equal parts beautifully cooked pasta shells and protein, all loving topped with a thick layer of cheese and server with 3 pieces of homemade crusty garlic bread. All of this (2 meals) and 3 drink between us cost just under £30 total so it it also extremely good value for money. The pub itself is beautifully presented, with ample indoor seating spread across a number of rooms, outdoor seating to the left and rear of the premises, wrap around parking and guest rooms.”

“Just picked up our little Jack Russell Rolo who is only 8 month's old who stayed for a 3 night stay for the first time, was of course a little apprehensive about him staying in kennels but needn't have been.Staff very friendly and welcoming even kept us updated with photos of him during his stay ,so much so booked him back in again for September,he came out full of beans and tail wagging , Thank you Edial for taking care of our beloved pet. 5⭐”
“Malcom the host offers a warm welcome to this lovely guest house. The room was spotless and decorated in a lovely traditional style. The ensuit is compact and functional with a good shower. There is a guest TV room available. The breakfast features both a wide selection of cereals and a traditional full English with vegetarian options. Throughout our stay Malcolm was extremely helpful and helpful, even preparing an early breakfast for other guests. I can thoroughly recommend that you consider this place.”
“Today we went to the fabulous Spa for the Fire and Ice Experience. Been taking friends and family here for ages for special occasions and always love it. But today’s a shout out for the Brabazon Bar, where we go after for drinks and a chat and a lovely bite to eat. The staff here are so welcoming and friendly. Alyson, Michelle Lucy and Ali - thank you for making us feel so at home!”
“The food was exceptional and the portion sizes were just right. The ambience was lovely, making it a perfect dining spot. It does attract a few famous people as I witnessed today, lucky day for me today”
“Music was too loud by the bar but ok on the floor below and outside. Food was quick and tasty.”
“Part of my spa weekend retreat. Food was good. Self serve.”
“Took my CSCS PQP test here. Handy that the centre is next to Four Oaks train station – easy to get to and no worries trying to park a car. The staff were fabulous. Very courteous and thorough. 5 stars to both the ‘receiptioneer’ and invigilator ladies – especially the calming manner of the ‘recetptioneer’ when dealing with some evidently nervous candidates. She had a warm sense of humour too. All the paperwork (including the test result) and digital photo were seamlessly done at the centre and electronically sent to CSCS. All I had to do was send a copy of my professional registration to a dedicated CSCS email address, make a phone call to CSCS to pay the fee for the CSCS card and hey presto! Job done.”
