   Really friendly staff both bar staff and housekeeping, so welcoming and lovely. The other long term guests staying for work were also nice so great atmosphere Only stayed one night for a work thing in the centre and was only hotel left available with parking so went for it even though very basic but really clean and great brekkie no complaints and would stay again

   Rooms were very clean and very welcoming. I do not have fancy tastes so if you are expecting five star hotel service and fixtures, this isn't it. Are they friendly and super helpful? Absolutely. Is the beer in the pub cold? Yup. Everything was clean and tidy. Didn't have an overabundance of ameni9but had more than we needed to tuck in and have a good night sleep and a hot shower in the morning. Also super easy to get to by car and there is ample parking. I would definitely stay here again. We also had breakfast in the morning. It was delightful. We sat in the pub and played cards for a couple of hours and had a couple of drinks. Thanks for the excellent stay.

   Stayed here as an away supporter for the football. The staff were really friendly. The clients during the day and night were friendly, not sure about the day of the match. Food was great. Rooms weee basic but really clean. Motorway is overhead but you cant hear it in the room, really good windows. 5 min walk to Villa Park. 10 minute Uber ride to the Bullring Birmingham. Good value for money.

   Great alternative to staying in City Centre whilst having really good public transport links to get there if need be. Late night party at the venue but our room was far enough away for it not to be too much of a problem. Unfortunately the council had not been able to resolve their dispute with refuse workers so lots of rubbish on local streets making it feel less pleasant than it should.

   Went here for a Christmas party, the DJ was terrible, played the same song twice in 15 minutes, played things like Who Let the Dogs Out and Ooh Aah Just a Little Bit, his music choices were terrible, no one danced for over 2 hours (read the room, mate!) Got told they wouldn't turn the lights down because of health and safety (the lovely staff had asked the manager and this was their response!) No idea why having the lights low would have been a problem, never been to something where the lights are on like that! Bar staff were lovely, definitely the one saving grace!

   Went here before and after the villa game on Sunday with villa winning 4-0. Great atmosphere at the Aston Inn. The rooms are lovely and the service is very good. Well managed. Great place to go even outside the football but really good place to go when there's a game on.

   I think its a great base for a business trip. Very clean. One of our beds was really uncomfortable. Took me back to the 1970s as you could feel the springs!! Also only glass bottled water sold in the bar which is expensive. Should offer plastic bottles. Free tea and coffee was a bonus though. Overall recommended

   A good place to stay not too pricey . The rooms are very nice and a good bathroom. Aston train station is just round the corner so convenient for getting into Birmingham. Also a good bus service. The staff are really friendly and helpful the two ladies on the bar last night were lovely. Offer a good breakfast at a fair price.Only suggestion what about tea and coffee facilities in the room ?. Would definitely recommend.
