I attended a wedding reception at St Paul’s House on Tuesday and we had the most wonderful time from beginning to end. The service was of an exceptionally high standard, and I truly couldn’t recommend this venue enough. The staff were brilliant and everything from the food and drinks to the cocktail selection was absolutely delicious. A big thank you to all the staff for making it such an amazing wedding reception. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Thank you.

Recently ttended a wedding at this venue. From the pre wedding reception to the actual wedding reception, we were met by such a warm welcome from the team. Nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely fantastic venue. The menu and standard of service brilliant.Such a professional team effort. Memories to take away, smiles from the staff all through the day, we were made to feel like family, you can't fake that. Other family stayed at the venue and commented at the attention to detail. Huge thank you.

A great little find! Situated opposite the church of St Paul’s and its graveyard. The bar has a lively buzz to it and the restaurant serves not an extensive menu, but nice food. Our room was a great size with complimentary Prosecco, orange juice, tea/coffee and water. Friendly staff too.

I had such a lovely experience here. The roast dinner was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a Sunday meal. A special mention to Wiktor who was amazing from start to finish very friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. He really added to the whole experience. Definitely one of the best roast dinners I’ve had in Birmingham I’ll be coming back soon.

Tushar provided us with really great service. We came for bottomless brunch on a saturday, whilst it was quite busy, but he was very proactive in ensuring we had drinks at all times. There was a minor issue with one meal, but all staff were very apologetic and quick to change the food, without argument. Food was quickly replaced and multiple staff apologised and checked if anything else could be done to accommodate us. Drinks were provided quickly and efficiently when ordered and Tushar ensured that we could make the most of our time at bottomless brunch. I could not fault him.

Bedroom was quite small, only option was a double so being used to a super kingsize it was a bit snug! Receptionist was fantastic really made you feel at home, breakfast was lovely and worth the added cost but add that to the room AND parking and I would have expected better accommodation. Bar was nice and service good. Lift was out of order which was not good for 2 members of the party who have had (not successful) recent knee replacements

Positives: Food, cocktails and staff. Dinner and breakfast were tasty, cocktails were aplenty and the staff are very friendly and look after you. Hotel feels safe and in a good location for the city centre. Room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable and the shower had the option of an overhead waterfall shower as well as a handheld which is nice for if you don’t want to wash your hair. Neutrals: We had a slight issue with the sound proofing in our room - we had a nice wake up call from the binmen at 5:20 in the morning (we found it funny, but if you’re wanting a lie in, bin day is Friday morning and you’ll probably want a room facing the back courtyard rather than the square!) Hotel decoration was a bit lacklustre compared to the bar/restaurant area, but decoration and maintenance was occurring during our stay, highlighted by the fact that the lift was out of order and the couple of wet paint signs in our corridor. Again, not an inconvenience to us, we took it as the hotel trying to keep us on track with our new year health kick as we had no option but to take the stairs! Parking is chargeable at £15 for 24hours, but at least it is on site. Overall, we had a great stay, we would return and we look forward to seeing the renovations (just not on a Friday!)

I really enjoyed my stay at St Paul's House, great location. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by lovely friendly receptionists. They always had a smile on their faces and were always very helpful Emelia, Katia, Diana all the team were brilliant I didn't catch all the names. It was my first time in Birmingham and it was a great experience. My room was spacious, clean and the breakfast was excellent. Thank you ladies hope to see you in the future.
