   Turned up to no one at reception. Rang the bell for half an hour, called the phone number. No answer on either. Had to book alternative accommodation. Very much hoping for a full refund!

   Advertised as superior 4* accommodation, so disappointed not even 1* whole place was dingy, dirty, room damp, with overgrown garden & grounds. I was the only one staying apart from the guy who runs it but felt so unsafe even after pushing single bed in front of the door I packed up & left. The photos on the website must be years old & do not look anything like what was on offer. The location is right on a busy dual carriageway & entrance difficult to find, if you miss it it’s a long way to find yourself back on the correct carriageway. I would not recommend this to anyone & certainly not a female on her own.

   Not the superior double it was described as. Let me say first that the host was very welcoming. When I arrived, the room wasn't ready. The carpet was wet, having been vaxed due to something being spilt by a previous tenant. I was underwhelmed, to be honest. Although the room had a smart TV, a fridge, and a microwave, it felt cold and damp and was full of creepy-crawlies, I spent a lot of time removing them. The room needs some TLC. There was gaffer tape under the shower cubicle, and the sink was coming away from the wall. There was tape on the ceiling, too. One saving grace was the shower, which was very good. Parking was tight due to a number of abandoned cars dotted around. The bed wasn't very comfortable so I hardly slept. It was not ideal when I had to be at the Vox Conference Centre at 8 am. Room 1 was described as a superior twin, which it certainly isn't. The smoke alarm didn't have a battery. There was no WiFi, which really isn't acceptable these days. I wouldn't personally stay here again, but it has potential with attention to the items I mentioned.

   Poor poor poor. Dated and damp room. Cramped bathroom/shower. As a contractor working all over England, this is by far the worst stay I've had. It says its 4*, I want to know how? It's a half star at best. Smoke alarm battery holder open and has cobwebs on it its been opeb that long without a battery in it. The bedding IS damp. The room looks like squatters designed it!. It's priced at £40+. At best (and I really mean this) it's £15 @ the very most. One night was enough for me and I booked 2 nights. I have never left a good or bad review of any of the hotels I've stayed in, but this is have had to make an exception.

   Terrible place. Booked here for a 2 night stay. Arrived around 7pm first night but left at 11.30 pm. Room was damp and smelly. Bed linen was damp. Carpet filthy and the shower cubicle dirty. Nothing like the on line photos. Smoke detectors had no batteries and there was no outside lights working. The room did have a small fridge and tea making facilities.

   I wouldn't advise anyone to stay here the room absolutely stank of mould I have lung probs so you can imagine, there's no lighting at all, it's also in the middle of nowhere no shop no pub no nothing which isn't so bad if u like that, it needs a real serious clean up & updating before people Pay any of there hard earned Money to stay here.
