Just had a great breakfast cook Von (I think I heard her name right), me and partner were in a rush to get back to the hospital (we had 50 mins). All the staff we met were nice and polite breakfast cooked really nice. Hash brown crispy on the outside and still soft and fluffy inside, bacon wasn’t burnt so all in all a really nice breakfast.

The staff here are constantly extremely rude. Made up unnecessary rules even after I showed them my ID. I’ve been coming here for 3 years and this is almost the norm but I’ve never felt so embarrassed as I was last weekend. You guys need to do some checks on your staff or hire better ones. And clearly, mine isn’t the only comment here that addresses the same issue. Fix up, it’s big 2025, businesses like this ought to be better.

rehan was aggressive, rude and threatening. i was trying to buy paracetamol for my sick mom, i had my ID and i was prepared to show it. he came over and demanded that my friend (who was holding car keys in her hand- you cant drive in the uk unless you are over 16), showed her ID aswell even though i stated she was NOT making the purchase yet he still demanded to see it to which i then told her to go retrieve it from the car. in this time i did a quick google search to find on TESCO’S POLICY that a companian is not required to show ID if the purchaser has already shown it. he said its in tescos policy… i then said you are looking at tescos policy on my phone and then he quickly changed his words to then say its ‘colleagues policy.’ my friend came back in this time and he didnt even bother looking at her license and marched back to the till i was at and stopped. he stopped to turn around and get in my face and talk about respecting him. he told me in the exact words that he has got 10 years on me therefore i should respect him towering over me and getting loud. i am a 5’4 female and he was a big 5’11 man and i felt threatened and intimidated when all i was trying to do was buy some medicine. he clearly targeted us because he was bored and when he got told, he decided to find a different problem which changed to ‘me not respecting him’. i dont know anyone that would respect a low life like himself, its giving jobsworth and got nothing else to do and extremely embarrassing. Tesco do something about it, your staff are fighting females for no reason. he got both the ID’s - which he wanted - but still wanted to pick a fight about not respecting him. we were all adults in this situation so i dont think there was a need for him to demand respect like i was a kid and tower over me to shout in my face. You can also check your CCTV and see him standing cms away from me shouting. he needs to re- do his conflict resolution before he’s out on the floor and as a customer it should never have reached this far if he came over in a nicer approach. and this tesco has been my tesco for as long as i can remember and i am always buying things that require ID which has only been required from ME, the person buying. so it seems hes plucking rules out the air because would you ID a group of people before close if clearly ONE person is buying an item that requires it.

A nice one, allowing me to stay in Costa while my wife is buying groceries

I come here often to get my grocery bits but today I decided to get my car washed and sit in the cafe with a nice pot of tea whilst my car is being washed! The cafe was clean, staff were very friendly and Yvonne made me a lovely cup of tea. I noticed that the cafe was very diverse and it was so refreshing to see! The staff were really going the extra mild especially with people that were in wheelchairs. Well done Tesco! You are literally doing the ‘every little helps’ to make our lives better!

I enjoy shopping at this store as it is the closest Tesco to me, some staff are willing to go out of their way to help you should you need help locating any missing items I would have rated more but the downside is that there's always homeless lurking around the entrance through the car park and ask for money. I think it puts people coming into the store especially if they get approached for loose change

Store is fine apart from 2 things: 1, the lottery of whether there will be any trolleys available. If there are none you have to waste at least five minutes going back into the car park and going to fetch one. Or just doing a minimum shop with a basket instead. I’ve actually figured out that if I can see more than a few in the car park, it is not worth the risk. Bring one up with you!! 2, beggars are permanently camped outside sometimes both doors. It seems odd how they manage to set up camp inside the car park (isn’t this private property?)

We have been shopping for years at Tescos but lately we are struggling as there is only person working at the checkout and we are expected to use the self services. We have been queuing for more than 1 hour regularly now. I wonder where all the staff went and I struggle with my mobility and I can't stand for long.

This is my local store and shop here regularly overral good store. The last few weeks i have been there the last 3 times and everytime there seems to an issue with the lighting. It dims and brightens so I end up with really bad headaches. Please sort this issue out tesco so that's why low rating.
