I do really like this pub and have visited several times. Staff are lovely and food is good especially.the burgers. Prices of drinks and food are competitive offers on daily.and you can use mixr app to get points I have has this experience before so its not a one off and if we cant eat outside like l couldnt this time because of the weather we wont be going in again. Saturday around 1pm we called for food As you approach the bar from car park there is an area to the left. This is usually filled with male drinkers We sat in the front room one with two large TVS as far away from the corner area as we could and yet STILL we could hear one very loud uncouth man swearing like crazy we could even hear the conversation saying he goes in there every effing day and in six effing hours so the guy he was talking at should F off as he was a C We thought there was going to be an altercation. It was really unpleasant and l feel staff should have asked him to keep it down. If people swear in a conversation that is up them but we shouldnt have to listen to it as we were eating in next room We were the couple who asked could you make the coffee a bit stronger and the chef gave him some of his. The two ladies who work there were very nice to us and thanked us for coming and said goodbye but you may have noticed we eat very quickly and rushed out Thankyou

Due to us not from being around the area we struggled to find somewhere to eat. We stumbled across this pub and we have been blown away. The service was lovely despite the fact they were extremely busy side and out. The food was exceptional (jacket potato and wrap both bbq chicken). I would maybe say they could have done with some greenery to add nutrition and aesthetics but taste wise it was super and well presented. Overall, great experiencex

I popped in here with my daughter today, on our way to Blackpool amusements. It's the perfect place to grab some decent food before you hit the overpriced stuff you get on the promenade. The place was really nice, plenty of parking space and a lovely outdoor area. The staff are super friendly and pleasant and the food was really good. I've been to many a pub that had far higher prices and didn't serve anything anywhere near as good, it was excellent food and excellent value. Also great to find somewhere that knows how long to cook garden peas, these were perfect. I know it's just a small thing but I hate an over cooked pea. We will definitely visit again when we're in this neck of the woods, would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

I've walked and ridden past this traditional whitewashed pub many times over the years, but this was the first time I've actually visited! Popped in here for lunch on my way to Stanley Park, and I was certainly not disappointed. It's a friendly local with a 250 year history (there's a blue plaque next to the entrance). Nice beer garden, and free parking round the back. Dog friendly. The two cosy little lounges are traditionally furnished, with comfy leather banquettes and large TV screens showing sports. The two girls behind the bar were both polite and friendly. And I was spoilt for choice when it came to the food! The large menu offered a great mix of classic pub favourites, curries, sharing plates, vegetarian and vegan, and there was a separate children's menu. Good meal deals, some with a free drink included. Ordered a lasagne in red wine and tomato ragu, with garlic bread and salad in a tangy dressing. The lasagne was hot, filling, well prepared and tasty. Treated myself to a honeycomb cheesecake with ice-cream and chocolate sauce for afters, and it was delicious! The wine and cappuccino were good too! Service was both quick and friendly, and prices were very reasonable. Would happily come here again.

Everything was perfect. A nice old pub, comfortable and welcoming. The food was excellent and great value too. Did a online search for pubs in Blackpool with good food, and ended up here thanks to all the good comments about the Saddle. I can happily add to those good comments. Enjoyable visit.

A beautiful traditional pub, which attracts locals of all ages. Was pleasantly surprised as I've lived here for 25 years and this was my 1st visit. Think this will be my new local.
