Great place for a stop over and a decent attached pub with good food and breakfast. Location was ideal just off motorway but quiet. Room was standard for these places but spotless clean and comfortable bed.
Fantastic hotel. Rooms were clean, comfortable and laid out in a great way for a family of 4. Added benefit of having the pub/restaurant within walking distance for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great 2 nights stay and the kids really enjoyed it.
We found our stay to be brilliant. Room was clean well presented and of a nice standard and staff at the reception and pub deserve high praise. They were brilliant.
Food used to be so good at this restaurant but has massively gone down hill. Ordered Hunters Chicken and it was disgusting. Informed the waiter that the food was not hot especially with it being an already reheated chicken breast and was told "Do you want me to put it on for another minute or exchange it". Extremely disappointing service then had the cheek to leave a TripAdvisor Review Card on the table!
We had stayed in 4 hotels that week while on our travels and the room was by far the most well maintained and clean. The value for money was excellent..staff were polite and friendly. It was great having single beds for the two children in the family room. Thank you.
Absolutely fantastic rooms and service by the staff. Went to a birthday party in Thorne and never visited the hotel before. Perfect for what we needed and more, amazing value for money. Will definately be visiting again. Thank you
The staff were great, the room was warm, clean and aired. The meal in the evening was as good as I would expect. Those are all the positives. You brew two of the most fantastic beers on the planet and whenever I stay at a Marstons Inn they are what let you down consistently. I do not blame the staff at all but the company itself for not ensuring the systems are in place to serve the beer in peak condition

Iv spent 14 weeks here and dined most nights in the pub. The food is nice and has a reasonable price. The rooms in the annex are clean and well laid out with usb sockets and 230v near the bed.
Only used the pub for a carvery meal. Everything was fresh and cooked nicely but 1 star less as veg wasn't very hot. Also 1 star less for the Wainwright beer that was a bit off. Overall a nice place to eat
