People and staff were all nice, lovely people. The place looked quite raggy though. Lots of state of disrepair. This thing has asked for my honest opinion so I'm giving it. Nice bed though that's the main thing.
Actually I didn't go into Travelodge! The place is just a service included Travelodge, petrol station, king burger and Greegs. The toilets in service are just essential. It's OK for a break but not premium.
Location was good for us, however wasn't sure we were in the right place initially - no signs or welcome lights. Sadly the room was disappointing, linen smelt musty/damp, bathroom smelt of urine and was extremely dated and dirty and my son came away covered in bites.
Lovely staff on reception. Clean, comfortable room. Fan was a welcome addition on such a hot day/night. Good location right off the A1. Next to a Burger King and Greggs and petrol station. Highly recommend
The outside of the building and car park are in need of of a bit of tlc, My first impression was that I made a mistake booking a room. However, in total contrast, the inside is kept clean, tidy and well organised. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the towels and bed linen were clean and smelt very fresh. Complimentary tea and coffee with kettle was in the room. Along with a large flat screen TV. I will definitely stay here again in the future.
Warning to anyone staying here! My trailer was stolen and the CCTV does not reach the full area of car park
Tired rooms that were a bit grubby, it didn't feel clean, a hoover had been run round. Great location but very limited choice if food. Burger King or a garage (Gregg's was closed when I got there) Highlight of the stay - bottle opener screwed to the desk and my burger. Staff were friendly and breakfast box was good.

Really friendly staff, particularly wanted to mention Tracey, who welcomed us and couldn't have been lovelier. Clean rooms, basic, but what you expect from a travelogue.
Pretty run down Travelodge. For some reason had a feeling the carpark wasnt a safe area. For some unknown reason i went to check the jeep and trailer to find it disconnected ready to be stolen. Could hear whoever it was in the bushes making a racket. Lorry driver that was parked in the carpark was also sounding his horn as they were trying his trailer. Horrible feeling. Left at 1am. Wasnt worth the risk. Staff were friendly enough.
