   Excellent hotel convenient location for all York attractions. The website states to use NCP Toft (this is street parking with only a few spaces) but in fact it's the Tanners Lane car park to use which is a 5 minute walk. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a great selection to suit all tastes.

   I had an amazing experience in this hotel. The room was clean and well organised. The hotel workers were great, the breakfast was delicious and it is 5 minutes away from the train station. If I had to explain my experience in one word it would be perfect.

   Very good hotel with clean and tidy rooms and facilities as well as perfect location and amazing breakfast. The only thing which was a bit curious for me, was the daily price changing. I have worked in hospitality for many years and I am familiar with seasonal price changing or more expensive in weekends, but I have never seen 3 times a price for Saturday compared to sunday, or Monday twice more expensive than Sunday. It didn't effect us as we were only there for one night, however I was considering staying for another night but because of this very big difference in price we did not extend our stay.

   A perfect location for a family of 4 we had 2 twin rooms which were perfect. 5 minutes walk from station. Easy check in and out. Rooms very clean and immaculate. Lovely breakfast not too busy going down at 830am on the Friday morning. Staff keep dining area clean and the staff find you somewhere to sit if busy. Great stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was concerned when I read few reviews about the heat in rooms but on checking in we were given a very helpful info sheet on hotel and it had very simple instructions on how to adjust heat hotter or colder which we did use and was perfect. We will definitely return. Thank you for a perfect stay.

   Really good clean and modern hotel. The bathroom was excellent. Really smart. Unfortunately the TV reception was very poor and was unable to watch. The picture was constantly breaking up. We thought this was unusual for a modern hotel. The hotel is in a good position for visiting York and the rooms are very quiet for hotel within the next city walls. I would also recommend using the NCP south station car park. It's reasonable close and is the cheapest for 24 hour car parking.

   Great hotel, very clean and spacious room. Really really comfortable mattress on the bed and I slept like a baby! Very close to the train station and all amenities and landmarks. The hotel breakfast could have had slightly more selection but the staff in the morning were very helpful and quick to clean tables. I will be staying again and have already recommended to friends and family :-)

   Nice and clean hotel, breakfast varied lots of nice bits! Room v clean and fabulous Fridge/shower, v comfy! Good location to centre of York. Some of the reception staff came across as v unfriendly, no smiles or pleasant greetings in fact you felt like you were bothering them! But hotel was fine! Don't be put off by that, it could have just been a bad day

   Very good hotel & strongly recommended. Nice modern building, close to railway station and about 15 minutes walk into town. Good warm, quiet rooms. Large buffet breakfast. All staff were universally pleasant and helpful.

   Nice hotel with friendly staff. Very clean and breakfast was good with a good selection. I give it 4 stars as we had a family room which had a sofa bed and a double, our Granddaughter slept on the sofa bed and every night the mattress kept sliding and she ended up lying in the hard gap on the sofa.(suggest they stop using these and invest in a different design). My wife was in the ladies toilet when two young cleaners came in to use the toilets and left without washing their hands. Suggest education on personal hygiene.
