We stayed in a superior King room, This room was in an appalling state of cleanliness especially the bathroom. The state of decor was appalling and the curtains couldn't be closed due to be being showered in dust and filth. I will add photos to show the state of the room. The drop down blind in rhe bathroom was completely discoloured where it had been founded and rhe net curtains were dotted with black mold. The restaurant during rhe evening was good but breakfast was awful. Raw sausages were served, cold beans and a cappuccino that was like a flat white with excess milk and no foam and Luke walm. I have stayed in 100s of hotels all.over the world and have never been so dissatisfied in the cleanliness of the room. Had there been another hotel available within the small town of Ilkley my wife and I wouldn't of stayed one night at all. Absolutely disgusting.

The hotel room (a suite) was perfectly fine except for a leaking shower. The breakfast was good and the lady in the reception/restaurant most often was very pleasant during our stay. However, once we left we were double charged, totalling over Ā£1000. My partner rang twice, neither person passed on the details to the manager. He finally spoke to someone sensible and a pending refund appeared on the credit card, only to disappear the next day. We are now going to charge back via the credit card company. This is not acceptable behaviour and whilst we will get the money back one wonders what people paying with a debit card would do if two lots of Ā£500 were taken. Shockingly bad and Iām afraid I would not stay there again or any hotel connected to the company. We spent the next week of our holidays trying to sort out a Bistro Pierre issue.

Centrally located and amazing staff supporting both the hotel and restaurant. Haven't had this good of service in years while travelling. Delicious breakfast in the morning as part of your room rate and you can order anything on the menu! Portions were huge so we ordered halves after the first day. Eggs benedict were the best I have ever had.

Stayed for 1 night in June. Fantastic location, everything you want in a minute or two walk. Stayed in the family room, absolutely loved it, walked in to a lounge area, then a big kitchen area, followed by a double bedroom. Bed was super comfy, didn't want to get out the next morning. Nice and clean place to stay. Didn't eat dinner here, but had breakfast, which was fantastic. Serving staff were brilliant. Highly recommend a stay here.

Staff have changed a lot over the last 18months, and a few need a little kick to get themselves moving, also not to predict what regulars want, they still may change their mind! Food brilliant, chefs very accommodating.

Excellent food at Bistro Pierre, good rates served by exceptional staff Melody and Emma. Lovely surroundings topped with an inclusive glass of wine.

The hotel is centrally located in Ilkley just a few minutes walk from the station. Breakfast is served in the Bistrot Pierre with a good selection of food including a full English. The hotel is part of a crescent which means the walls are at strange angles. They are clean and come with a tea/coffee facility and biscuits are supplied daily. The only thing that can't be guaranteed is good weather but Ilkley cinema came to my aid on a very wet October day.

Avoid. If you have to stay there don't settle for a room at the rear unless you're thinking of staying up in the company of the bang bang bang from the night club next door (The Yard) has a rave Friday and Saturday nights, it goes on until 3.00 in the morning. You can then enjoy the arguments and screaming of these most compassionate of patrons leaving the establishment, smashed. I do feel for the hardworking staff of the Crescent who have to multitask servicing the customers in the dining room with checking others in without a receptionist. Breakfast was great.
