Amazing accommodation, had a fantastic time. Very thoughtful host who left us flowers and prosecco. Bosuns restaurant was amazing. Would definitely return.
Unique place to stay. Very comfortable. Relax having a beer on the deck watching the boat traffic on the river. Great for self catering or walk 100 feet to puck up a wood fired pizza and a beer.
I visited here for my mother in laws hen weekend. The boat is huge! Extremely clean and very spacious. Their are 7 beds in total (2x doubles, 2x Z beds, 1x bunk bed and 1x single bed) all very comfy, clean and cosy bedding and the decor is out of this world. My partner and I are going to book a weekend to come later on in the year. It really is a beautiful accommodation. The river was nice and peaceful in a morning and has 2 large outdoor seating areas to watch the rowers go past. Can't fault this place at all.

The Ark house boat . Had a fantastic weekend here. Location was great on the river. Parking right outside boat. There is a tea shed/ cafe open throughout the day not sure if it is open all year around. More boats around you. Can walk by the canal. Plenty of people walking their dogs, Small caravan park by you . Location great for York approx 3 miles . House boat 2 double beds, ( with extra sleeping facilities to add extra single bed in each room) 3 bunk beds 3 toilets, 2 shower,1bath. Towels provided. All equipment in kitchen area( except microwave) very well thought out house boat and in very good condition. Constant hot water . Heating facilities with thermostat to adjust . The owners provided tea and coffee, all eco friendly domestic cleaning products, outside area to sit and enjoy the views and BBQ facilities. Had a great time and yes would definitely come here again.
We stayed at Yella's houseboat and had a great time. The houseboat was nicely furnished, large and very comfortable. Yella was very helpful and accomodating. Would recommend. It can be hard to board the boat when the river level is quite high.
