It was my first time visiting Legends I had cut & blow dry done by Demi She did exactly what i asked for and was very friendly Would definitely come again and book with Demi again
My daughter had her hair washed and pin curled by Demi a few days ago. She was advised that the appointment would cost £25, in fact she had visited the salon and called them on a few occasions to confirm this. My daughter was charged £30, she assumed the extra £5 was the deposit for the hair clips used for the overnight pin curls. (This is mentioned on there website) She tried to return them back 2 days later but was told she was never charged for the clips (even though when her hair was being clipped she was advised £5 deposit is needed but will be refunded once returned) she was advised the extra £5 was because her hair was thick and took a long time. She was not told this when the payment was taken. The team told my daughter she can keep the clips as she was never charged for them. However I think my daughter should have been advised on this at the time. She had another appointment booked (which is now cancelled) and she was told on this appointment to bring the clips for the next appointment so she doesn’t have to pay another deposit. However she was told something completely different today. If your gonna charge extra for thickness of hair then you should make it clear from the start and you should do a breakdown of the price at the time because my daughter has been told 2 different things and it is very misleading. If nothing has been advised when payment was taken then that is not the customer’s fault, the deposit for the clips should have been refunded as that was explained at the time. You can’t just make up the rules as you go, this is unprofessional and unacceptable. It should be clear from the start, otherwise you will lose customers trust just like my daughter who will not be returning due to the dishonesty. Due to this experience I would not recommend this hair salon.
Had my hair cut today by Rosie. She was very friendly and took great care with my hair and didn't rush. I left with a lovely cut and some great advice on how to maintain the style and what products to use. Looking forward to having a colour soon!
It was my first time going to Legends, they fitted me in on a last minute appointment. It was great getting my haircut today by Rosie. Very lovely, approachable hairdresser. Checked in with me throughout the hair cut to get an understanding of exactly what I wanted. Took off just the right amount of what I requested. Nice cut and lovely currly styling.
The staff here have always been great. From fixing my daughter's fringe disaster to helping me with highlights in my dark brown hair. They are friendly, chatty and have a great dynamic together, and from the moment you walk in you're looked after. A cup of tea and some biscuits is a small thing, but it does a lot to making you feel comfortable and settled especially when you're in for a few hours. They really listen to what you want, to the point that my stylist was happy for me to bring in my own hair products. I highly recommend them to anyone. Review update: still the only place I've gone to regularly for haircuts and colour, and they still do tea and biscuits! Some faces may have changed since my previous visit, but the atmosphere is still friendly, glam and beautiful! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a hairdresser.
Only recently started using this business but can't imagine going elsewhere. Highly recommend you try their young stylist Rosie. Very friendly and can see she has a passion for her job.
