Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. The store has everything you need from vegetables, bakery, dairy to wines. I always shop in the Garston Asda. It is a very enjoyable shopping experience.
Self service checkout machine broken or faulty asking for checks constantly, whilst four members of staff watch customers struggle. The manager wants to get a grip and open some checkouts and utilise his staff.
Really like the place but I have one gripe - why has the cold beer fridge been broken for 4 years and counting?
Decently sized store with a lot of free customer parking that can be availed using horizon parking or similar app for a small fee. Very handy.
dear Asda, Pls remove the jacket of your staff in Asda which says on back “happy to help” I had 2items in multiple No, when I drew attention of two staff who were seriously busy in talking , one seemed like a manager told me that you must be tired to scan your items . This is self service and scan yourself. . I had 2 varieties of beer bottles in 8 quantities . He could have easily canned two bottles to finish 8 No of beer but instead he was so rude. I assume him as a manager and if it is true then you can imagine why Asda Garston customer service is so poor. On top of that he called his security , what a joke !

Cant get anything you go in for, manager is snotty, some miserable staff in there, cant bare the place anymore now all the old staff members left, love pat she’s amazing very helpful and friendly
There’s a security guard who looks to be of Indian decent that blatantly racially profiles people, however, he’s clearly had zero training because why would someone with a £1300 phone, £500 watch and £200 headphones come in to steal?. I’ve had this issue repeatedly with the same security guard. And if he’s going to racially profile he could at least try to be inconspicuous about it rather than following us around the store, standing right next to us and staring at us. We can blatantly see you, and yes that was a dirty look when we walked out because we’re on to you and what you stand for.
The customer support and service by the staff is absolutely horrible. It looks as if that the staff are unhappy to be there and it seems they blame it on the customer, this includes the supervisory staff too. Very rarely would you find somebody smileing and happy to help a customer in need. On the rare occasion you come across the exception to the rule. I am not writing this on just one bad experience and urge top management to look into this seriously. I would also recommend secret shoppers of different ethnic backgrounds to be sent into this particular store so that management could get first hand feedback
