   I went here this morning. Store was not too busy. I completed my shop using the scanner. My husband wanted to pay in cash so we went to what has always been the only cash self service till. After scanning, we noticed that the till had a sign saying card only. I politely asked the member of staff, Helaina if there was no longer a cash till. She said the next one along was now for cash( no signage to say this) We were paying for our items and till showed that we needed assistance. As I turned to look at Helaina, she appeared to be smirking with her male colleague, whilst looking over at us. I've generally had very good service from Tesco Formby, but this poor atitude has put me off shopping here.

   What on earth is Tesco Formby think of for the second year running they have put up a tatty cardboard Christmas tree!! Surely they must have taken notice of the general opinion after last year. Nobody I spoke to had a good word to say about it. Why on earth don’t they put up one of the artificial trees they sell and decorate it with the baubles and lights they sell alongside the trees. I suspect they will say it’s an environmental gesture but if they were that concerned surely they wouldn’t sell artificial trees and push the cardboard option they have on display

   This is for the Costa at the front of the store. Great coffee and clean. Unfortunately, Jan had a bit of an attitude when I ordered my coffee and literally rolled her eyes and tutted. Bad customer service...shame on you, Jan!!

   What is going on in Tesco Formby! The lack of stock is unbelievable for such a big store. Last weekend not a cucumber to be seen, this weekend no cucumbers no tomatoes no peppers on Saturday! Going to have to start shopping somewhere else.

   If, for whatever reason, you’re looking for alcohol-free wines and beers then this Tesco Superstore meets your needs. In my case it’s because of the Chemotherapy etc. that I’m undergoing. Addams Ghost Ship, Old Speckled Hen and St Peter’s Without are beers I’d recommend. Probably in that order. The Store itself has nice wide aisles, good parking and pleasant helpful staff.
