   Got admit Tescos in it self has become well overpriced for poor quality I have shopped in tesco for years and seen prices go through the roof and the food quality drop. Some staff in this store are rude and unhelpful as I witness Christmas eve when a lad asked a staff member where something is and he flip his arms open telling the lad for god sake mate. Like the lad was being a nuisance I felt really uncomfortable just standing by totally unacceptable behaviour by that staff member.

   This used to be a Tesco metro and it was great, lots of stock lots of variety and great staff. Then it became a jack's and that was a good shop, like a cross between Tesco and Lidl but reasonable prices but with alot less stock. Then it became Tesco superstore and it's now absolutely ridiculous, still has barely any stock, the staff are rude and don't care, the tills are never open so only self service, and it seems like a shop that's given up. Just needs to sell it to another brand, Lidl, Aldi, Sainsbury's even and hopefully they can get things back on track, the staff are rude, don't answer when you ask them for help they just blank you, only staff who are any good are the friendly security guards on entrance Don't bother and just go to Iceland or home bargains down the road

   Date : 05/08/2025. some staffs are rude not at all up for just basic customer service , just 10 min before as I am writing found expired prawns mayo sandwich on the shelves while asking the guy who was shelving the stock this morning just 10 min ago on the to go shelves , wasn’t happy that I said it , not even responding while I said excuse me , I felt why should i do business with tesco while there is Asda , LIDL very close by . Not nice , next time happy to provide picture and name if needed, customer Deserve to be treated well, generally people in this Tesco aren’t very helpful towards customer unlike many other Tescos in Liverpool.

   Today I went to the shop and they said they not allow giftcard payment on the phone even I told the old lady I used here before. The insist I need to have a physical card. Hopeless shop.

   Worst Tesco I’ve ever had the displeasure of entering, staff wear joggers and mountain climbing gear and have a till open every 5 working days. Self checkouts have a traffic jam all the way back to Crewe, don’t go if you don’t have a week to spare. Overpriced, understaffed and a complete waste of land.

   Opening hours need updating. Google says 10-4. People waiting on Sunday at 10 but Tesco sign says 11-5!!!!!

   Tescos have simply closed Jack's and increased the prices. Absolutely awful service, hardly ever have a till open. When they say every little helps, they mean it helps them.

   An Aldi and Lidl-alike. Slightly sparser in decor with a hint of Home Bargains. A few more brand names than Aldi, but very similar in prices and choice. The proof as they say will be in the pudding.
