   Visited today.Although store was fairly quiet the queues to pay were ridiculous! Only 2 or3 tills were manned & the self service queue was 8 deep. Upon complaining politely to the manager more assistants were allocated to tills. Not a great start to 2026. Customers value their time as well as Sainsbury’s. I might add that the shop assistants are always very pleasant & helpful!

   Upton Sainsbury has well-organized shelves and consistently assured quality in both vegetables and meat. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience pleasant overall. A little improvement in checkout speed would make it perfect!

   Large well stocked store selling groceries,clothes and household items.also has a bakery. Make the most of the nectar card offers , joining on the app recommended. I shopped at a quiet time .

   Always great to pop in here. Definitely matching Aldi prices, got a great deal on wine, their bakery goods and even their milk! Great variety & choice of food, clothing, household goods & a great Argos collection point. Always met lovely staff here over the whole store. Great for petrol too - nectar points leads to very happy customer.....

   Wonderful hyper market in the local vicinity. Usually shop our monthly groceries from here. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Ample parking spaces are available at all times.

   They have most things in stock, and although some items have gone up drastically I still prefer this store; far more variety, and wonderful staff. Through my fault I had an issue with my Nectar points/ money voucher. Eventually it got sorted, and I want to thank Liz (at customer services) for her help, staying cheerful throughout the process and making me feel valued.

   I visited the store to buy some wine and asked the assistant to help me find what I was looking for because I struggle to see the small writing. He was so helpful, polite and very knowledgeable and I cannot thank him enough for all his help. I’m sorry I did not get his name but he deserves to be recognised for going above and beyond.
