   I have had an extremely disappointing experience with Sunrisestar and their staff. Having had experience with multiple lettings agencies in the past, I have been shocked by the lack of support and professionalism shown by Sunrisestar. Clearly they have no regard for their tenants safety and when issues have been raised they are very reluctant to provide basic support including ignoring multiple emails and phone calls, and declining requests for meetings with them. They continuously divert responsibility for any issues to other organisations including the university to deal with despite the contract being with Sunrisestar themselves. When reasonable requests were made to make the tenants more safe, these were ignored and not carried out. If you are considering renting with Sunrisestar, I would recommend finding an alternative lettings agency and avoid Sunrisestar.

   Our experience with Sunrisestar has been extremely disappointing. From the outset, any attempts to raise legitimate concerns were either ignored or met with hostility. Despite providing clear evidence through multiple emails regarding serious issues on the premises, we were unjustly labelled as engaging in "harassment" — an unacceptable response to valid tenant concerns. The environment itself is neglected and poorly maintained, resembling more of a shelter or drop-in centre than a livable space. It's disheartening to say, but the place feels closer to a prison than a home. There's a clear need for a complete refurbishment and a serious review of how complaints are handled. Sunrisestar’s handling of problems shows a lack of professionalism and regard for residents' well-being. If you're looking for a safe, clean, and supportive place to live or work with a management team that actually listens and acts — avoid this place at all costs

   Where do I start. I lived in Fairfield Lodge last year and would not recommend this company. They do not let you speak over the phone when calling about issues and constantly talk over you. They have let themselves into rooms during viewings that have had signs on to state that we did not want viewings that day, not only that but didn’t inform us of viewings on 2 occasions. I was threatened to be charged by staff twice for things out of my control, and they gave out too many parking spaces and tried to make different flats park behind each other. There were 2 break ins on the car park whilst i was there and their “cctv” is not good enough to get images. If any problems occur on weekends they are unreachable, so there have been occasions where we went without heating, hot water and wifi for days. £0 deposit sounds great but wait till the bill comes through at the end of the tenancy!! Say goodbye to any peace and quiet cause on the top floor we could hear everything happening on the bottom!! Edit: i was personally not charged for anything, but have heard stories from other tenants who have been charged for a lot. I did not have a urine stained mattress, they are just an unprofessional company who are upset about an honest review. Maybe if they owned up to and apologised for their mistakes made during the tenancy, they wouldn’t have to lie on their own reviews. They have asked me to remove this, without acknowledging the staffs attitude towards students. however i wanted to show a true picture of my year at fairfield.

   RECOMMEND!! They let you decorate and do what you like in the apartment. Having a dishwasher, washing machine and drying machine in the apartment is another level decent.10/10!

   I lived at Fairfield Lodge during the final year of my degree. From day 1 everything was perfect. The apartments are in an impeccable state. The location of the property was super convenient for Eccy Road, West Street and Uni. Free Parking was also a massive plus point for me! 100% recommend!

   Had an amazing experience at Portland Tower last year, the location is hard to beat for nightlife on West Street and how close to Uni you are. The Rooms are spacious, and the shared areas have everything you need. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.
