   My 13-year-old son went into the local shop to buy a loaf of bread. When he got home, I noticed the date on it was up the very next day. I told him to take it back and ask for one with a longer date, as most people would do. When he went back, the woman at the counter told him he wasn’t allowed to swap it because he had already left the shop — he’s only 13 and has no idea about checking date labels! So I went myself to sort it out. I politely explained that the bread was dated for the next day and asked if I could swap it for one with a longer shelf life. She said no, again, because it had already left the shop. I mentioned that it should really be reduced if it’s that close to the date, and she just snapped, “No it shouldn’t.” After I asked again if I could just swap it, she finally said, “Oh, just do it then,” in a rude tone. I did swap it in the end, but the attitude was completely unnecessary. Very disappointing — I’ve always thought good customer service meant being polite and reasonable, not making a fuss over a loaf of bread that’s expiring tomorrow. Won’t be rushing back any time soon! This isnt my first bad time.

   Absolutely disgusting received milkshakes with no lids when ased the delivery driver were the lids were he dosent know this is a health hazard and he shouod of left the shop without it sealed would even give it 1 star but no other option

   It's OK when we visited the pacel machine was not working correctly seemed to hold the queue up abit think the printer head was gummed up !otherwise well stocked great staff thanks well worth a visit think there's a step not good for my disabled chums

   First time when I collected items for too good to go, there was nice variety of items well worth. But yesterday 27th May 8:30 pm when I collected there were 3 packets of bread all with expiry date 27th. They might have been more sensible, and the basic purpose of too good to go is avoiding wastage of food. What do they expect someone to do if they give at night three packets of bread with same day expiry date.

   A very handy, well-stocked local shop. Prices aren't ridiculously inflated above larger shops. Reasonable for the convenience it offers in my opinion. Good selection of wines and beers as well as lots of other handy goods, including frozen and chilled foods. Magazine section for periodicals as well as household goods section. A very decent local shop.
