First visit. A quiet lounge which is nicely out of the way. Decour and furnishing is well appointed. Staff are superb. During my visit it was rather busy which did leave tables left uncleared at times. Bar service was excellent. Food is buffet style with a choice of hot dishes. Food quslity was not good on the hotplate. Theres a hot and vold beverage station. Ample dining seating and several snug type areas. My visit was complementry through mastercard. I would not have been happy had i paid, for the low quality hot food which was available. Incidently, i saw tge strangest food item ever a 'Brussel Sprout Salad.' Tried it. Absolutely vile. Non the less, a pleasant visit made all the more enjoyable thanks to the staffs kind attention and service. Big thanks especially to Harvey who was a thoroughly nice chap and excellent host.

On arrival, reception was friendly. However the food was disgusting, what I can only discribe as COLD slop in a pan! No variety. Very very little choice. What was there was indescribable. It took an age for the food to be replenished. The bar man obviously does not enjoy his role. Slamming the drinks on the counter! No manners at all, let alone the drinks not even being a single measurement . This barman needs to go! He does not represent the company well! The only FRESH element of the food available was the pancakes. The alternative little cup cakes were that dry you could not swallow. Definitely would not be revisiting or recommending lounge 1 at bham airport to anyone and my daughter as a social media influencer will be very verbal on our experience

Not horrendous, but pretty basic in it’s offering. Very very busy and limited buffet style food options. Bar staff were good so made the best of our few hours

Check in process was long and protracted , leaving you wanting to be seated for up to 10 minutes in the foyer . The staff are very friendly and helpful - with thanks to Harvey for his assistance with charging plug adapters . And Theresa for her super level of service at the bar . Seating is comfortable, but is provided on size of group ( you may get a sofa for 2/4 persons , window seat ( looking on to airport apron ). Only concern was the shear volume of the music played during our stay. Hard to hear your self think and converse with one another . Toilets located outside the lounge , and like most of Birmingham Airport- dirty , badly maintained and cleanliness was questionable

A surprisingly large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. However, my daughter's favourite were the fresh pancakes from the pancake machine! The lounge has a gentle ambiance and is family friendly. Well worth it if you are staying in Birmingham airport for any amount of time unless you require a good internet connection as their Wifi is a bit spotty.

The best lounge at Birmingham Airport. From greeting to leaving the staff were attentive and friendly, clearing away plates and glasses quickly, and there was a good choice of food available. We were lucky to have breakfast and lunch so had a range of foods to try. We enjoyed every dish we had especially the cheese selection. A massive thank you to Keeley for making our stay enjoyable and relaxed.

The staff are lovely and really helpful despite being overworked and stressed. That was the only plus point. DON'T EVER visit if your flight is around lunchtime super busy crowded and no choice extremely disappointed. Will book with club rooms next time as this place feels really stressful. More cattle market than relaxing lounge

We went to the no 1 lounge in Birmingham airport. We arrived during the breakfast serving which can be described as average, no toast, no eggs, no scrambled eggs, no milk, so your tea or coffee had to be black and you couldn't have any cereals. I did have beans, sausage, some rather dry bacon, and potato croquettes. We were fortunate/unfortunate to be there for lunch and the best part of the lunch was the cheese and biscuits, the lunch was not so good. We did make an enquiry and was informed that they were awaiting a delivery so based on this responce it would appear this is not the first time nor will it be the last time. Looking at the bigger picture it was poor value for money for poor quality food, the service was very good and polite, based on the whole experience I would not recommend, we will try the clubrooms next time.

Nice and cozy place. Food was not great but okay. Little bit crowded in airports’ rush hours. Restrpoms are outside, not spceial to the lounge, this is not good. A few quite spaces are all “reserved” for someone(?).
