My partner and I visited the shop for Christmas gifts, we were served by Claire but her service was terrible and the music was way too loud to hear let alone think. We won't be returning again....

There was a whole range of different dazzling jewellery to choose from making my journey worth it. The service was also great especially from Claire as she helped and recommended me a few products that would be perfect for Christmas presents! I would definitely come here again to shop for jewellery! I would recommend this place for everyone!

I visited the store on Friday 12th December around 4–5pm, where two female staff members were working. I was looking to purchase a silver bracelet for an event. At the till, I was told one item had no price tag and therefore couldn’t be sold, which I understood. I asked if the price tag could be located, but I was told it wouldn’t be found and no effort was made. I then asked if the price could be checked online. One staff member asked her colleague to look while I waited as they served the queue, which was reasonable. However, I waited around 10 minutes while both staff members served the same customer, giggled, and commented to each other. I overheard them say “tell her it’s £17” before calling me to the till. I was told the bracelet cost £17, but when I asked to see this online, it showed two bracelets for that price, which was not communicated and felt misleading. I had to ask them to turn the screen to see it myself, as £17 for a single bracelet of that quality seemed overpriced. They looked at each other and slowly turned the screen. I asked how much it would be for just one bracelet, and I was told no discount could be given. I asked them if they could actually look for the other pair and I was told “if we had it there, you would have seen it there so it’s not.” So I had to go and look for myself with my partner. I then brought similar bracelets of the same quality, also without price tags, to pair it with the initial item and was told they could not be sold that way. I was informed I could only buy one bracelet for the price of two, and if I didn’t want it, “I don’t have to buy it”. While I understand company policies, what was unacceptable was the staff’s attitude and behaviour. They were constantly giggling, unwilling to help, dismissive, and appeared comfortable misleading me by selling one bracelet for the price of two. When I politely asked questions, I was quickly dismissed rather than supported. This was a very poor customer service experience and felt rude and unprofessional throughout. Do better!

I went into lovisa to return my items, as I tried to online and it said to go into the nearest store. The staff were so unhelpful, they told me to find the receipt so I found my order comfimation. They said no you need the receipt, they wouldn't help me find it they just looked at me and I felt really judged by them. Another lady told the girl who was on the till that I just need to show my order number. So I was looking for something I didn't even need. They didnt apologise they just looked at me in such a rude way. Awful customer service. Will definitely not be shopping from lovisa again.

I got disappointed with uneven ear piercing and poor customer service today. Once its done, I brought it to the attention of the staff, expecting at least an acknowledgment or a discussion about how to fix it. Instead, they all were refused to accept this mistake. And they were trying to cover their mistakes my saying irrelevant advices. I understand that things can go wrong, but the unwillingness to accept the mistake was really disappointing. I am now left with an uneven ear piercing. I won’t recommend this shop to anyone as this is disrespectful.

Absolutely shocked and horrified today when I went into Louisa in Manchester to find an Asian woman in her 20's taking out earrings from their packet and trying them on 'in her pierced ears' in front of the mirror. I have known since I were a child that you can catch all sorts of diseases by wearing earrings that have been worn by another person, including HIV. Even worse, she may have been naive (despite her being in her 20's) but she was accompanied by her mother who was watching her putting them in! I complained to the Asian lady behind the till and was just as shocked to find that this lady went up to this woman and her mum and said 'Can I have the ones you tried on and you don't want? If you try any more on can you hand them over to me?!' Instead of saying she cannot try 'earrings for pierced ears on' and perhaps educating her on the reasons 'why?' I suspect the sales advisor will just put them back on the shelf and sell them despite someone having already worn them. You have lost a long standing customer...
