   I went to this shop on 12th June 2024. I bought items worth £12.30. I paid by card and the Shop assistant at the till told me that my card did not go through. But I said to her I heard the ping sound that my money was taken off. She asked me to tap my card again. Which I did as there was a queue of customers behind and I did not want to cause an issue. When I arrived home I checked my Mobile banking app. And there showed 2 x payments taken out for the same amount at Town Market. I drove back to the store and said politely that there has been a mistake with the payment and that I was just in the store. The shop assistant at first tried to deny that she remembered me even though it was literally 10 mins ago. She then called the Shop Manager or Owner he demanded to see my Banking Mobile App. I did show him but I felt that he had no right to demand this. I said this to him. But he told me to "Shut Up" and that I was talking too much. I told him he is rude and I want my money back. I felt so stressed and not believed that this happened. I will not be going back into this shop.

   Recently discovered this shop - outstanding selection of food/spices/pulses- stuff from all over Europe and beyond - nice staff - real good feeling of being in a proper market. I used to go down to Turnpike Lane for my stuff - but now its just a short walk from my home - they even do goat - Thanks, Paul.
