I am disappointed that people collecting prescriptions have to loudly say their name and address across 2 tiers of counter. Last night I spent a sleepless night managing my anxiety to collect a repeat prescription for depression medication. There is no empathy from this pharmacy. Very disrespectful

I went in on the 18th January for some medicine that I can buy over the counter, the lady wasn't pleasant when I asked if I could take this with Ibrophen ~ she abruptly said Yes with no eye contact. The staff you're employing and have for a few years quite simply lack any warmth or customer service!

Worst chemist i have ever had dealings with. Had a heart attack on the 18th nov, all meds changed. put prescription in on mon 30th dec to be told it won't be ready untill mon the 6th jan. One week without meds is ridiculous.

I don't know what's happened to Well pharmacy in Ossett but since the staff changed the customer service in there has dropped from good to non existent. I don't think I've had a single hello, with you in a minute, thanks or bye. Lots of stood chatting to each other behind the counter and turning backs on customers and little if any eye contact. Despite it being in a very convenient place for collection of my prescription I'm changing pharmacies.

Absolutely appalled at the standard of service of the pharmacist in this chemist! The lack of understanding around mental health and the judgment of the people struggling in life is off the chart. Also I advise set lunch times so your not having your patients/customers!!!! Waiting! It’s no good just taking breaks willy nilly when people getting their medication rely on you! If you say we are on lunch from 1-2 or whatever then people know. Then people don’t go with out their medication when it’s needed!!! All I can say is I’m disgusted that you look down on people with mental health issues like you do, you work in the care sector … you are an health care professional. If you can’t have compassion who can? I will be taking this to head office.

Booked a flu jab with Wells Pharmacy online 10 days ago for Fri 16 Dec - got an email reminder yesterday. Attended today and was told they haven’t any flu vaccine and couldn’t understand why the system let me book online with them. Rubbish experience.

Not had all my medication and then asking me what medication I take my god got to back for my other stuff unless not going there again no way.

Needed medication. This place got my prescription wrong only realised when I'd paid and they refused to get me the correct medication and give me my money back. No doubt seeing my mental health issues as a means to cruelly exploit me. Someone's need to use the NHS and acquire medication shouldn't be used to rip him off. These people are rotten to the core

Second time my elderly Mum had booked in for a Covid booster (via the government website) and the second time you were unable to provide her with a vaccine. Shockingly bad customer care and service

I had not realised that there were 5 pharmacies in Ossett and when turning up at closing time to collect a glaucoma medicine, the staff member could not close the door fast enough while I my hand was on the door - which she managed succuessfully while avoiding all eye contact to look at her feet. I explained I had called and understood they were open later than 6. We tried the other door just to see if I could collect the medicines that I had been told were ready to collect but they woman dashed to the door to lock that one this is at dot on 6pm. Never, ever have I worked in a job where on the dot of the hour I have downed tools and walked out of the office or stopped serving a drink etc and sometimes I expect a little more consideration rather than the jobs worth of its 6pm on the nose and I do not want to help someone in need. NHS needs pharmacies to step up and play their part - they are not a shop - they are a centre for advice for wellness for communities and while Coronavirus has shaken the foundations of our health care systems and if pharmacies want to help shape the future of professional healthcare this is not the attitude to transform patient care. I very much doubt whether or not she’d of even engaged with me through the closed door if it had not been for my caring daughter who was asking “why wont you give my mummy her medicine, she is 3 and a half. I would state that I was outside and wearing a mask and not shouting - talking or rather pleading loud only enough to communicate with a person working in the world of care - through plate glass - despite this all the woman could offer through the glass door to someone who was seeking Glaucoma medicine that I had not spoken with them earlier and they were shut. She could not even be bothered to direct me to the other nearest pharmacy (which through no help of them I found out was 5 minutes away). Well Ossett pharmacy will will add could not find the Timolol glaucoma drops, this pharmacy said were not available on the NHS - they are as were available through Ossett Pharmacy . Therefore I recommend you look to another pharmacy who care enough to to give you five minutes of their time through an open door.
