High end reputable Supermarket situated along the Edgware Road a little bit up from Marble Arch/Oxford Street. Accessible via good bus/tube routes. Good customer services. Good quality foods. However on this visit I was let down by the delicatessen counter/store as pre Christmas 23 Dec each year I go there to purchase cooked turkey sliced there & then to the thickness you desire. On this occasion I was shocked & horrified there was no cooked Turkey in store for slicing, informed actually none of their stores until Dec 27th '25, I assumed London only? - thought what's the purpose of being available after Christmas, it's needed for Christmas Day! So normally I'm very happy with this store apart from this never happened before unfortunate incident. Waitrose is one of the outlets remaining after Covid19 where you can go & purchased cooked Turkey sliced for you. Could it have been a problem with pre-order from their suppliers? Generally a good Supermarket to shop.

Utterly disgusting store! Took pictures of only a fraction of the horrors in here. Rotting food, massively dented cans and jars that have been opened and placed back by their own staff! This is seriously concerning so I’m escalating it to Westminster environmental health and the HSE as it needs external investigation, not their own clueless staff. And all this just days after they were exposed on the guardian website for treating a disabled Autistic man horribly! Suspect they will continue to lose money

Dear Waitrose, my wife and I are regular shoppers at this store. We even have a my Waitrose account with app and card number-We are almost in there daily for nik naks and weekly shopping as we live just around the corner and like that you stock better quality products than your competitors. However I do find security one in particular (Arab/european) middle aged gentleman always following us around the store even though we’ve never caused any problems and certainly have never stolen. I understand he’s security and it’s part of his job but It almost feels discriminatory, because I’m a 100% certain that any good security will be very discreet and will check cameras if they had any doubts about customers and I recommend he uses his discretion and does check cameras rather than making genuine customers feel uncomfortable. I know he’s familiar with us because we see him on most of our visits it would be nice if staff took the time to acknowledge and possibly greet customers so it’s not such a negative shopping experience for either of us. Today we saw the same security at the main entrance. My wife and I had our own shopping trolley we use to keep our shopping in. We now use the handheld device because it’s quicker and Waitrose knows who we are and what we like. Today we only needed onions and yogurt from Waitrose but I still find this same security guard looking sideways at my wife and into our shopping trolley while following us around the store.I noticed the lady at self check-out point picked up on the security guard’s behaviour because even she (middle aged grey haired woman large set) started staring at our trolley and when our handheld device didn’t work we we waited for her to assist us. We waited and I made eye contact with her thinking she will come and assist as the light was red. But after waiting a while we chose to use the next till and just scan the products into the till ourselves and finished paying. That’s when she ran over shouting “who’s using this till”? I replied it was us we were waiting for assistance but you didn’t come so we changed tills. It was just an awful experience altogether and it’s the security that caused it. Either he’s over zealous or he’s genuinely discriminating and consciously trying to make us feel uncomfortable. I don’t want to stop using my local Waitrose because of an over zealous security guy who I may never see again. But I would appreciate if Waitrose acknowledged they’re customers regular or not. And Waitrose should familiarise themselves with the regular customers and treat them with a bit of respect.

The current store management needs to be held accountable and replaced. Walking into this supermarket feels like stepping into a poorly run operation in a third world country . The shelves are consistently empty, the store is badly maintained, and this is not an isolated incident—it happens on every visit. I have never seen a supermarket managed so poorly, and it is completely unacceptable.

Great offer for my Waitrose members. I buy a banana and scan my loyalty card to get a free coffee from the machine. Great offer for members ☕

I love this Waitrose. It's my favourite grocery shop in the area. It seems to always have the selection I'm looking for. The fruits and veg always look really nice and fresh, and there's a lovely selection of brands. I'll definitely keep coming back.

It is advertised that they close at 10pm, however tonight I get there at 9:30 as I needed some things after work. Only to find customers inside but the doors locked. I understand that it can be difficult to close at 10pm with customers inside but you need to change your opening times online as this was very frustrating. Had I have known I would have gone before work.

If you are lucky about when you go there is enough variety and is enough personal to help you can have good time. Lately Waitrose edgware road are letting people down with poor labels. They are not like used to be. For moment i felt i was in a Waitrose at hambra in Beirut. What is best in this Waitrose is the session of breads and cakes. I love it.
